The owner Rafael is very friendly and he is also an excellent guide. The tours he offers is a must in Nakhchivan!

Quite a convenient, safe location. Clean, comfortable beds. Hot shower. Handy washing machine and kitchen. Farid ran our 2 day tour and did a wonderful job. We saw some incredible sights and covered heaps of Nakhchivan. Alinja Castle was a massive wow factor! Nakhchivan is full of friendly people.

Rafael was a great host, tour guide and photographer. The room was comfortable and a good value.

I slept really well, almost like at home.Rafa is friendly, pleasant, and very helpful.And what about the place? Beautiful, not very touristy, and very authentic... I would go back immediately. “Perfect Nakhchivan experience”

You should 100% stay with Rafael at Noa Hostel if you come to Nakhchivan! The house has a real down-to-earth homestay vibe, and the room was super comfortable. More than all that, though, I had a great guided tour with him and another guest, in which he took us all around some beautiful sites in Nakhchivan (Alinja Castle, local restaurant for lunch, Salt Mine, Qarabaglar mausoleum etc), which is often overlooked by foreign tourists. Even if you don't choose to stay here, at least get in contact with Rafael to arrange one of these tours. His bright personality is a breath of positivity and it really made my whole stay in Azerbaijab special.

The location is absolutely perfect – quiet, central and very convenient for discovering Nakhchivan. It's important to note that this is a private room in the hosts' home, not a hotel, which may not suit everyone looking for a more traditional or fully private accommodation. That said, the hospitality more than makes up for it. The hosts are wonderful, and Rafael in particular is truly exceptional. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and helped us discover the region in a way that would never have been possible on our own. Even if you choose to stay elsewhere – in a hotel or a more comfortable place – I strongly recommend getting in touch with Rafael for tours in and around Nakhchivan. We did two full days of exploring with him, and the experience was simply outstanding: informative, well organised, and full of personal touches. This was one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Rafael is not just a great guide – he's someone who really cares that you leave with a true sense of the place.

The location was very central and convenient to shops, restaurants, and sites. Rafael and his wife were wonderful hosts and helped us feel at home.

It’s like being home away from home: familiar feeling, amazing company and very nice owners. The house is right in the middle of the city, walking distance from everything, the owner also offers tours of the region that I suggest to take. I came for 2 days and ended up staying 5. Very generous and helpful hosts.
