“A Place Worth Coming Back To”

Hotel Rural Xerete is truly a gem. One night was definitely not enough, but we had to continue our travel. We would absolutely love to come back one day. The place is very nice, peaceful, and clean. The owner and staff were also very kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

Ana manages a lovely rural hotel surrounded by cherry orchards in the Jerta valley. Very friendly staff. Nice room with balcony offering good views of the valley.

Lovely hotel and surroundings good food

“A quiet, relaxing place with a charming host”

A simple good size comfortable room with a very nice en-suite shower room and loo There was a little terrace and lovely views of the large garden. The pool was a good size; from memory maybe 20 metres, and plenty of sun loungers, table and chairs. Also, plenty of parking space. Breakfast was plentiful and, great to have gluten free cereal - thank you Ana!

“A beautiful and secluded location with a great swimmingpool and excellent host.”

This property exceeded our expectations. The swimming pool was generous in size, regularly cleaned and open much earlier than most pools in Spain. The garden was verdant, with many birds singing beautifully. Our host, Anna, seemed to always be available and very happy to help out with the smallest thing - and so friendly and kind! We were delighted to be in the countryside among the cherry orchards of the Jerte Valley (and just far enough from the relatively quiet road that the occasional traffic noise sunk into the background on the whole). The breakfasts were pleasant and varied each day with different types of fruit and cakes/croissants plus fresh orange juice, meats, cheese, toast, coffee - all beautifully and quickly presented. We also had dinner there on a couple of occasions - the food was also excellent and very filling with three courses at a very reasonable price. The wine was excellent. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden, the beds comfortable and everything very clean. Mosquito nets over the windows and doors protect from the mozzies around - bring insect bite cream and cover up if you eat outside in the evening.
