It is the second time we have stayed at orange hill and on both times the staff have been so helpful , they can’t do enough to make your stay carefree.

We had a wonderful time at Orange Hill. The hotel complex is nestled in peaceful surroundings with direct views of the nearby natural beach and the sea. The grounds, with palm trees and lots of greenery, appear well maintained and invite you to linger every day, as the focus on the sea, framed by palm trees and many other trees and shrubs, is very pleasant. The hosts and staff were always friendly and extremely helpful. As the hotel has been run for generations, you can feel the personal warmth. Breakfast and dinner were always fresh and delicious. We couldn't get enough of the lobster, and we really appreciated that the waiter told us in advance whether the fish was fresh or frozen, for example. Unfortunately, this was not the case in other restaurants, so we only noticed when we were eating. The fresh snapper at Orange Hill was cooked to perfection, tender and smelling fresh. Although the wine selection was very small, it was perfectly adequate as the wines are very good.

I booked through booking.com , the price was reasonable, however on checkout the price was considerably more and booking.com then changed the price I agreed to after my stay , fraudulent and no doubt illegal

I cannot praise Orange Hill highly enough. We were made to feel so welcome and the atmosphere was comfortable and homely. We were offered an upgrade on arrival and had a fabulous little cottage overlooking the beach and the ocean. The lapping of the waves provided a wonderful soothing backtrack to our visit. As did the rain at night! Our room was air conditioned and (being British) the only thing missing was a kettle!

Staff were very friendly and helpful always. The rooms were spacious as was the pool. It's bigger than the images suggest. Food was very good, we had breakfast each day and lunch and dinner on separate occasions. The surroundings are wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and there's a nice beach across the road. The bat caves along the road are worth a visit as is the restaurant Da Plantation for a lovely meal.

As a guest you felt you are welcomed home, after a long trip. lovely staff.... Breakfast took a while, but you can grab a coffee and enjoy the view on the deck outside... I will be back for sure
