Ballangen Camping offers pet-friendly accommodation in Ballangen. There is a seasonal restaurant and guests can have fun at the water park. Narvik is 26 km away. “Fantastic stay”
Fantastic camping site - location, cleanliness, design of the lodges, mega helpful staff! and as a bonus - northern lights just outside the window!! We came in the end of March choosing Ballangen Camping with “just to sleep” mindset, thinking we would need to “chase” the northern lights at nights, so what a pleasant surprise it was when we got to see the northern lights our first night just outside our window!! We had the cheapest option they had to offer - cabin 10sq m, really small but really cute and has everything you need - fridge with freezer, table, chairs, cups, plates, cutlery, room heater. This type of cabin required to use shared kitchen, showers and toilets but that was not a problem at all since it’s fairly close to the cabin and is well maintained - kitchen has fantastic interior design with 4 sets of appliances, so you never have to wait for your turn to cook, showers always have HOT water which was so nice considering it’s still pretty cold in Norway in March. I also noticed that most things people pointed out in their reviews were fixed - showers have locks and a big squeegee to remove water out of the shower; kitchens have ovens, microwaves, dishwashers and plenty of pans and pots to use. In short, our stay here was fantastic and we would definitely love to visit Ballangen camping in the future to experience a warmer season in Norway while enjoying their pool area.

“A quiet Arctic stop surrounded by nature and a convenient base for exploring Narvik and Ballangen.”
The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful Arctic nature, with mountains and water all around. It feels quiet and authentic and works well as a stop while exploring the Narvik and Ballangen area. The cabin is simple but comfortable enough for a short stay, and the overall campsite atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

“Cabin is perfect for a small family”
Friendliness and availability of the staff. Cleaning had a high standard, and the cabin has everything one needs, including kitchen stuff. I visited off-season so didn't enjoyed all the offers from the camping but if I return to the region, this will definitely is to be considered.
