I had a wonderful stay at this lovely inn. The room was immaculate, with a stunning view of Mt. Fuji—truly one of the highlights of my trip. I am grateful for the kindness of the owners, who went out of their way to drive me to the convenience store when I needed a few things, and even offered to take me to the bus station the next day. I felt so welcome that I was happy to extend my stay by an extra night. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality—I hope to return one day!

“Japanese style room with friendly hosts. Loved it!”

Spent here 2 nights during our trip through Japan. We wanted to enjoy the real Japanese home, and we got it! Very sweet couple of owners: super friendly, they even dropped us to the station when we were leaving. Mt. Fuji is just in from of the window - view is perfect, however you must keep in mind the weather. We walked around in the night to enjoy clear sky with stars, fresh air, and absolute quietness. The last bus goes from the station at 17:38, it is better if you rent a car. 20-25 minutes walking and there is big public Onsen, where we had an amazing time. Restaurants in the area: we found 1, and it was fine. Lawson, 7/11 are available in walking distance.

The lady who owns the place was so friendly and adorable, she even gave us a lift to the train station the next morning. We had the most amazing view of Mt Fuji out of our room window. Lovely Onsen baths.

Room with direct view onto Mt. Fuji, perfect to wake up to at sunrise. Very kind and helpful hosts, who drove me to the nearby onsen shortly after arriving, and then dropped me off at the station the next morning. Despite not speaking English, they make themselves understood using Google translate. Heater and AC warmed up the room enough, so made it comfortable despite sub zero temperature outside. Very affordable accommodation for the area, especially considering it has an uninterrupted mountain view. Quiet area, away from the hustle of Kawaguchiko centre which is very touristy and feels like a ski resort.

Everything. The room was very comfortable with a view of Fuji-san. The hosts were a delight, they make you feel like one of the family! I will definitely stay here again & I recommend to everyone.

Absolutely breathtaking view of Fujisan from our window! Amazing onsen 30 minute walk away. Very good shared facilities: fridge, microwave, bathrooms, showers. Our lovely hosts also offered us a lift to the station on checkout.

Lovely grandma taking care of us in a very traditional Japanese home. It’s a great perfect stay if you have a car and if you would like to try living like a Japanese for a day.

We are glad that our room has a good view of Mt. Fuji. Looking outside the window was the first thing I did in the morning. The tatami room is spacious and clean. Both the house and the environment are quiet and peaceful.

This seems to be a typical minshuku experience. The lady is older and does not speak any english. She will show the place and use translator if necessary. There is a refrigerator to get drinks on level 1. You can pay when you leave. There is 1 bathroom with a hot bath which is quite common for home stays. Car GPS and Google Maps directions was accurate. View of Fujisan from the bedroom is beautiful. Everything is clean and as expected. I will return in future if staying in the area again.

It was in a calm area and very, very quiet in a beautiful small community. The room was clean and exactly as advertised, including the view of Mount Fuji. The Guesthouse owner funny and very accomodating.

Beautiful view on the Fuji. They gave me a bike and drove me by car to the next station. I recommend this place!

“Lovely stay near the 5 lakes area.”

We could walk to the lakes and around Kawaguchiko adn really felt we were in the countriside which in itself has it's charm. I loved the idea of sleeping in a traditional Japanese house - you sleep on a mattress, the bathroom had all the amenities and plus there is a traditional bath there. They picked us up at the train station and also dropped us off - the owners were very nice, even though they didn't sleep English we managed to have a nice stay there.

Clean and friendly owner. While location is not convenient, the owner drove and dropped me off at Kawaguchiko Station. There was fireworks and the lady owner shared with me immediately and we watched together.
