Comfortable, clean room and very friendly hosts. Property is a very attractive cottage home, close to all the major Fuji attractions. Breakfast is always a feast. Mamasan and Papasan are fantastic hosts. I will definitely stay with them again when I visit.

Very friendly owners

It truly feels like coming home. Not only is the location absolutely perfect—with beautiful sights and plenty of things to do just around the corner—but the hosts, mamma-san and pappa-san, make the experience unforgettable. They are incredibly warm, kind, and go above and beyond to help with anything you might need. Their genuine hospitality creates such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that it’s hard not to feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive. Everything is thoughtfully arranged, and you can really sense the care and pride they put into making your stay special. It’s the kind of place you leave with a smile—and a strong desire to come back. This is my third visit over the past 11 years, and it says everything about the place that I keep coming back.

Mama-san and Papa-san are very sweet and helpful. You can order breakfast which is huge and delicious. The Lodge is super cozy and homey. We would recommend this place for anyone who enjoy staying at a local place with enthusiastic and kind hosts. Also, we recommend that you rent a car in Fujikowaguchiko since the Lodge is a bit away from town. .

“Welcoming place to relax amid lush forest”

Set amid the forest near Mt Fuji, this lovely and quiet place is a breath of fresh air from the crowded Fujikawaguchiko area. The hosts are very welcoming, have very good recommendations for beautiful Mt Fuji views (Tsūgenji temple during Golden Hour!) and make sure you lack for nothing. Really loved our stay with our 1,5 year old daughter.

“Perfect Stay!”

Mama-san and Papa-san were perfect hosts and incredibly accommodating. We only stayed for one night traveling through, but it was well worth it. Our room was comfortable and the lodge had a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend getting the breakfast-super yummy! Thank you for making sure we got to our bus on time in the morning!

Our family of 5 loved this place! Mama-san and Papa-san took very good care of us. Breakfast were absolutely delicious, thoughtfully made. We have a rental car, this location was ideal for exploring the Mt Fuji and surrounding fhe area around it. Their rommendations for local restaurants were excellent! 11 out of 10 for Stack Point ❤️

Very good breakfast, the perfect start in the day. The couple running the place is very nice and makes the already great stay even better. Of course, it is a bit remote, but very quiet and tranquil.

Away from the city, surrounded by greenery.

The hosts are amazing, very friendly and informative, they answered all my questions about local attractions and offered some really good suggestions about things to do. We ended up following their suggestions and had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was incredible and there was enough food to even satisfy my 2 six foot four twin boys who seem insatiable most meals.

I liked everything, the room was good, and the bathrooms clean and new. The owners were a lovely couple that helpess us in all they can. The place is relaxing, you can go everywhere taking a bus but check on google the hours and know maybe they could be late like 5 a 20 minutes. I loved how they were with us, I feel so good !

Loved the fabulous couple who owned and ran Lodge Stack Point, so friendly and hospitable - it was a pleasure to spend time in their company. Unfortunately we only had one night here but would recommend to other travellers. It’s a remote location but if you have a car it’s convenient for visiting Fuji close by (Apparently there is a bus stop nearby)The local onset is excellent!

Breakfast was good and hearty. Great way to start the day! The location is good if you are driving. There is a playground nearby with a gorgeous view of Mount Fuji. Mamasan and Papasan are the sweetest and friendliest host! They made our stay extra special.
