Barunguba Montague Island is situated off the coast near Narooma, offering two private accommodation properties. Included in your accommodation is return transfer by boat from Narooma wharf and a 2.5 hour tour of the island. All units have a seating and dining area. The fine printPlease note that Montague Island is an offshore island. It can be cut off from the mainland vessel access due to sea and swell conditions thus delaying access to and from the Island. In some instances delays may involve several days. There is no private vehicle or vessel access to the island. Montague Island is only accessible via one of NSW National Parks & Wildlife contracted commercial vessel tour operators. Should it be unsafe for visitors to depart the island nominal additional program fee will be charged at $30 per person per night. In the event that NPWS has to cancel the program prior to departure participants will be given a full refund. NPWS or Booking.com will not be liable for any additional costs incurred due to delays or cancellations. Travel insurance is highly recommended. Participants will be contacted by the Discovery Coordinator to arrange transfers. Boats usually depart 08:30 or 12:30 from Narooma Wharf. Boat transfers to the island are included in your accommodation package. The Discovery Coordinator will contact guests to arrange travel details prior to arrival. Please note there is an island access fee for return boat transfer included in the price. Please note in regards to the 2.5 hour tour of the island, the day of the tour can be negotiated with the Discovery Coordinator prior to arrival. Tours commence at 09:30. Please note Montague Island Lighthouse is a remote property, so please make sure you arrive well-prepared to be self-sufficient during your stay.
