Overview
A 12-minute walk from JR Narita Train Station, The Hedistar Hotel Narita offers Western-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. A free shuttle is available from Narita Airport, which is a 15-minute drive away and must be requested at time of booking. “Amazing stay before our flight the next day. We will be back!”
Loved the location and prices were so affordable. Property had a huge shopping centre across the road and steak house which our kids loved.

The room i got was very small and old. Immediately upon entering the musty room affected my asthma, making it difficult to breathe. Given the state of the room this was probably due to mold. The AC did not work causing it to be 26C° in the room while it was only 16C° outside. I asked the staff if i could get another room because of this. Someone went with me to the room and tried to get the AC to work, also acknowledging the temperature of the room. About the room affecting my breathing there was no comment and I "should open the window". A window that looks out on a completely blackened and moldy roof/balcony, so this was not an option. They also indicated no other room was available for me. Given the stains on the bed and the general state of the room i decided to get a different hotel for the night as i could not stay there. When I left they suddenly mentioned that they had another room available if I paid another 3000 yen. They also would not refund me the costs i already paid. I think this hotel is in the middle of renovations, as seen from other reviews. However, not every room has been renovated so that there is a chance you get a room that looks and feels like its from The Shining. So book here if you want a "fun" gamble on whether you get a normal room or a hazardous one!

“Nice overnight stay”
The Hedistar was within walking distance to a local mall and restaurants. It was nice to end our stay in a hotel room with more luxurious comforts. The staff were friendly and helpful and the convenience store near reception was convenient. It was great to get the free shuttle to the airport.

“Close to airport”
Great hotel if you need a stay near the airport (with a great free shuttle). The staff was very helpful before we rrived so it would be easy to find the shuttle. The breakfast was great!

This location was our introduction to Japan and it was lovely. The walks I took were filled with temples, local shopping, and busy Narita traffic. I loved it.
