“We would never stay here again”
We wanted to stay in Narita the night before our flight home as we were interested in visiting the beautiful Buddhist Temple there. Unfortunately, our one night at the APA Hotel Keisei Narita Ekimae was a very disappointing. All the service provided by staff was excellent - friendly, welcoming and helpful - and the hotel was very clean and well maintained; however, our room was ridiculously small - hardly enough space for us to move around each other - and was located overlooking the Keisei Train Station, so trains loudly rumbled by past midnight and started again at 04:30. Breakfast, which is usually excellent at Japanese hotels, reminded us of a 'continental breakfast' in North America - very few offerings and nothing particularly enjoyable. Another reason I booked this hotel was because it offered a shuttle service to Narita Airport. This was also a huge disappointment because the shuttles run regularly until 10:55 and then nothing until 16:55! Since our flight left at 18:55 and we didn't want to sit at the airport for almost 5 hours before we could even check in, we had to take the train. Our worst hotel stay during two months of traveling in Japan.

perfectly located right at the escalator to keisei station for 10 min ride to narita airport. good restaurants and pubs in main street. hotel has comfortable beds, well equipped, good room size, lots of handy extras for travellers
