Thank you to the English speaking staff. You were all so kind. The communal lounge and kitchen make it feel like home. Everything was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable, location 10 mins walk from the deer in Nara Park. A great place to stay.

It’s a really beautiful building. The common spaces are big and good for meeting other guests. The location is great, close to the train station and all the local attractions. New towels each day free of charge.

Much better than I expected! The building is beautiful and the fact that the dorms have sliding doors that open to the small courtyard was a nice feature. Staff were great, made me feel welcome immediately, and they spoke good English. Common spaces (kitchen+living room + outdoor patios) were plentiful, the mixed dorm was spacious, no issues at all with moving around. This place had a really nice friendly vibe to it, so I felt comfortable extending my stay to two nights.

We stayed in the standard private room. We were amazed by the beauty of this property! It was very clean, comfortable & great value for money. The guesthouse was a little cold in the corridors, but our room was very warm and cosy. The shared bathrooms were plentiful and clean, and we even had our own private sink in our room! The location was great, only 10 minutes for Nara park, the station, and many shops & restaurants. We opted in for the breakfast which was tasty and affordable.

The staff were very kind and accommodating, it’s a basic traditional house but it was cosy. Super close to the Nara park as well as the train station. The breakfast in the morning was a nice way to start the day and for only 600¥ it was worth it

An amazing guesthouse that exceeded our expectations in every respect. The staff spoke great English and were very helpful. The building has indeed not been insulated, but thanks to the air conditioning we were nice and warm throughout our stay. There's a spacious common room in which you can have coffee, cook or socialise with other guests.

“Very nice traditional stay”

We really liked the traditional house and the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. The kitchen was also really well stocked.

Very rustic and homely vibes! Room was very big for 2 pax, plenty of space to even exercise! Had to head to the shower/bathroom that’s outside but that’s okay. Staff was very friendly and welcoming!

It really feels like an old house, with a few traditional rooms and pleasant lounge. It is well placed between the station and the Nara park. Very helpful staff, including English native speakers.

This was our second time staying here, 2 years ago we had a great couple of nights and this time we were passing through Nara on our way to Osaka and decided to stop by again. The staff, as always, were lovely. We had a different room this time and it was comfortable, although not as beautiful as the traditional Japanese room. Great value for money with a great location, we'll stay here again when we come back to Nara.
