A very interesting neighborhood with traditional houses around, away from the tourist crowds. Many small shops and workshops. Nearby there is a very stylish hair salon and two good coffee shops. Very comfortable beds. Lots of space. There is a washing machine. Parking area next to the house. This is a traditional house. It is old and has many antique details, which are fascinating to look at and give you a sense of the era. At the same time, such details collect dust, so if you have allergies, be careful. Hot water, air condition, wifi - all worked good. Overall, the stay was comfortable.

“Cozy japanese house”

The house is very beautiful and characteristic, as well as extremely spacious. The bathroom/shower is large and comfortable. The location is excellent: within a short distance (a maximum 5-minute walk), there are a couple of bus lines that conveniently take you to the monument area (Nara Park).

We liked the authentic old Japanese house. It was exceptionally clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable, the tatami floors are very pleasant. The kitchen was well equipped.

This is an amazing property and we loved staying in a traditional Japanese townhouse, in a quiet part of town. I was travelling with my husband and 3 adult children in early April. The location is great for walking into Nara (10-15 mins). We arrived in the evening and it was lovely that our host had put the heating on for us and it was easy to retrieve the keys from the key safe. It was a bonus to find there are 2 toilets and 2 hand washing basins in the property. We all agreed that the shower is the most powerful shower we have ever come across - amazing. All the beds were large doubles and very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and our host had left lots of extra towels for us (far more than we chose to use). We liked that the bedrooms could also be heated in the evening, if needed. I used the washing machine and the instructions in English were helpful. There were lots of hanging rails to dry clothes on. The kitchen was well equipped and had more than we needed to reheat meals from the convenience store or to make snacks. For the rest of our stay in Japan we stayed in aparthotels in family suites. I was great to have so much room to spread out in for a few days. I highly recommend this property.

The place has a really nice location, a couple of restaurants nearby, 10min away from the Nara Park. It emanates the traditional japanese living experience.

Huge property - very spacious and suitable for families. Full of charm and character. Fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. If you are looking for a special stay, this is it. Carpark is 2 mins walk from property. Location is very convenient and near key attractions.

We stayed as a family of 4 adults and 2 children. The house was spacious and gracious. The area was quiet with good access to buses. Kitchen was modern and fresh, the washing machine was handy with very good racks for drying. The two young girls loved the make up station. We stayed in winter and although it was cold outside and in the bathroom area, the living and sleeping areas were cosy.
