“Incredible experience”

Everything was perfect, the attention to detail was remarkable. The onsen is open the whole night and there’s complimentary ice cream until 1am. In the morning there’s complimentary yogurt and also a delicious breakfast. There’s two massage chairs as well that made everything so much better

Great place, real immersion in Japan.

I really liked all the amenities and breakfast, even with no salmon roe (i really wanted it on the breakfast, but ok), and the bath was good too.

A truly excellent, modern ryokan located just a few steps out of Nara JR station, and in front of Sanjo-dori street, i.e. Nara's main high-street getting into the temples and parks (15 minutes walking from the hotel). Great onsen experience (clean, well-organized, spacious enough and with a very nice outdoor pool), clean, fully-equipped and comfortable rooms, excellent hospitality, including several freebies (free evening udon, complimentary ice-cream out of the onsen, free coffee and chocolate on the main dining room downstairs).

It was luxurious, sober and quiet. The onsen was very nice ! It was close to everything.

I loved the pyjamas to wear around, everything was supplied so I didn’t need luggage. It was very good value and perfectly located right next to the train station. Staff were very helpful when I asked to use an iron, also.

The localization is great, near Nara’s trainstation. The staff was very efficient and nice. The onsen is a real plus.

“Superb experience”

The whole experience was outstanding. The onsen was superb, the massage chairs and the free ice creams in the reflection room after were all such lovely touches. The bowl of ramen after 9 and the breakfast were brilliant. Such a relaxing place the only bad thing was having to leave.

We booked last minute after a slight change of plan. We wanted our first onsen visit to be great and it was. The hotel and staff were great and the onsen beautiful, tranquil and very Japanese... just like the hotel. A lovely experience and piece in the city.

The location was perfect for us. We only stayed two nights while in transit. It was perfect to visit the city, and being close to the train station made it easy to get to the airport the next day. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. It was very busy but comfortable and very authentically Japanese. There's a shoes off policy throughout the hotel, and you leave your shoes in a locker by the reception. The free pyjamas were confortable. The breakfast was pretty impressive. Lots of choice and good quality food. You can also get some freshly cooked ramen every night at 9pm. Which was great because a lot of restaurants in the vicinity were fully booked.
