Overview
The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. The Todai-ji Temple and Deer Park are a 10-minute stroll away, while Nara Station on the Kintetsu Line is a 7-minute walk. JR Nara Station is 14-minutes away on foot. All guest rooms feature air conditioning and heating, and are equipped with a fridge and flat-screen TV. Japanese samue nightwear are available to all staying guests. Some units come equipped with an en suite bathroom with a shower, while some Japanese-style rooms come with an en suite shower. Japanese-style rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. The property offers free WiFi access and a 24-hour front desk. Luggage storage is available. There is a public bath on site, where guests will find free toiletries and hairdryers. A coin launderette, a shared kitchen and free-use internet PCs are offered on site. The on-site tourist information desk offers information in English, Chinese and Korean. Services offered at the desk include transport and meal tickets at a discount, currency exchange, bike hire at a charge, cultural activities at an additional charge, such as Japanese calligraphy lessons, and tour arrangements. Some cultural activities such as origami folding are offered free of charge.

“Excellent property to stay at in Nara!”
Overall experience was great! Clean, fantastic location, excellent customer service, free cultural activities, stayed in a private tatami room with private bed it was a great experience for us (they have private rooms with beds too). There’s a public bath, enjoyed the origami activity and cosmo play, did not get the chance to do calligraphy. 10 minutes walk from nearest train station, very central location, well equipped shared kitchen facilities if you want to heat up or prepare meals. Very close to deer park (it’s a huge park), right next to Sarusawa pond which you can enjoy while having coffee at starbucks (lovely starbucks location) . I think this property is in high demand so if your dates are available, book it!

Really nice accomodation ( japanese style room), super attentive and helpful staff, there is a public bath in the Inn abd its located 10min or so from the deer park. All in all a pretty awesome experience

“Amazing place in Nara!”
One of the most peaceful and pleasant structure to stay in Japan! Just 2 minutes from Nara Park and the center of the city. The room was huge, with beds and everything useful like TV, tables and a comfortable sofa, with a nice view on the pond in front of the hotel There is a konbini downstairs and they also have touristic stamps!! Amazing ! Plus there is a sento inside the hotel! Unexpected and awesome surprise since I didnt know about it and enjoyed spent some time there doing a traditional japanese bath The staff was pleasant and very kind, and they were also very funny, we spent some time talking about my homecountry italy and Japan They also let us leave the luggages there before and after the chekin/out Totally recommended in Nara, JUST dont miss it!!

The location is great as you can have a relaxing evening and start to the day. Staff were really lovely, helping our daughter with origami well after the visitor centre closed. Was a real highlight for our stay given it was really reasonably priced

“A perfect place for exploring Nara”
Amazing location and setup. Very comfortable, well kitted out and situated right next to the park. Staff were welcoming and very helpful (local knowledge + allowed us to leave our bags here for a few hours after the check out time).

Enormous comfortable rooms in an amazing location; short walk to shops/Kintetsu station and the deer park. Staff are lovely and helpful. Konbini in the basement is also super convenient.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Not only are you in the heart of everything you'd wish to see in Nara, they also offer free cultural activities such as calligraphy and origami. The staff are incredibly polite and helpful, the rooms are very clean, comfortable, traditional and have everything you need for a great stay. I had worried 2 nights would be too long but wish we'd had longer; there's so much more to see in Nara than I'd expected. If you stay here, I highly recommend the tea ceremony with Oookayayoi and two other lovely ladies was absolutely wonderful! Definitely book this if you are visiting; they are so friendly, polite and kind and the ceremony is informative but really fun. Our eleven year old daughter also loved the ceremony so it's great for couples, friends, and family.
