Bicycle rental is offered, allowing for fun and easy exploration. Kansai Airport is a 100-minute bus ride away. A Japanese breakfast is served in the banquet hall. Dinner is served in guests’ rooms.

“Fantastic”
Super friendly and helpful staff. We had a wonderful experience, with delicious and beautiful Kaiseki dinner in the room and lovely traditional breakfast in the restaurant. A western breakfast was also available, if desired. Futons were really comfy. Onsen was relaxing. Location great with Konbini, station and Nara deer park relatively nearby.

I really liked this hotel/ryokan. We stayed in the twin room and it is much bigger than most Japanese hotel rooms. There was a table and a little sofa in the room. Beds were comfortable. Yes the room is a bit dated but it is totally fine. I enjoyed having so much space. We had breakfast included and you could pick your breakfast time, 7, 7:30 or 8 am. You could pick your breakfast, western or Japanese. We are vegetarian and they tried to accommodate us. You could also have dinner here in your room but make sure you give them about 24 hours notice if you want that. We did not have the dinner. The location for visiting Nara Park is excellent and also its proximity to the station. The shampoo and conditioner selection at the public bath in the hotel was next level. Some of the staff speak a little English, but don't expect fluent English speakers here. I enjoyed using my poor Japanese skills.

“Authentic Ryokan experience”
Authentic traditional Ryokan well located near main sites. We had a spacious traditional room with matting and futons, dining and seating area. As well as the welcome kimono and jacket etc. The shower room was small but perfectly adequate, as we used the great public baths down stairs for a warm soak and shower. The meals were traditional and excellent. With varied delicacies. We opted for the dinner which was varied and delicious arty, including wagyu beef, tempura seafood, vegetabl delicacies, pickles , soups and even dessert. A pricy but a good meal. The staff were helpful and courteous but spoke little English so communication wasn’t always easy, but they always tried to help.

“Great time at Nara Hakushikaso”
Location was great and so were onsen and food. We had an amazing Japanese dinner and breakfast. Staff was nice and polite. I highly recommend it.

Very traditional public bathroom (onsen), delicious meals both breakfast and dinner served in the rooms. Quality of ingredients, variety of plates and large portions. Staff extremely kind and nice and tatami room was absolutely huge. The hotel structure is like a dive in a movie: wonderful memories.

“We enjoyed our stay for the novelty reason.”
The Japanese breakfasts were fine but the western stayle were not that great. I have used the massage chair in lobby everyday, it was great. The dinners in our room were really good but as usaul it seems food in Japan is on the salty side and this also applied in this hotel.

Overall is quite good but problem the stuff like lock oldies . Room remain v cold even heater . Toilet super super small . So best is shower at onsen public bath area
