Yoko was the best host, we had coffee and great chats together. Yoko have us some great recommendations for food and walks in Nara. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Nara.

“Most wholesome and welcoming place I have ever stayed in!”

Where to start? The guest house was just a 5 minute (if that) walk away from the train station. Yoko is the sweetest, most wholesome and welcoming host I have EVER encountered! Facilities were super clean and the bed was extremely comfy. The whole place had a lovely relaxing vibe to it. Yoko has made the most incredible place here and her warm and welcoming personality just makes it stand out from anywhere else I have stayed. I will remember this stay for a long long long time, and it is all thanks to her! If you are ever thinking of visiting Japan, you must come to Nara and stay here, you will not regret it in the slightest!

This is the first time I live in a traditional Japanese style house, feels so cozy here.And the host is very friendly , caring for little sick me. The bed is super good. We had an incredible stay at Yoko's guest house. We wish we could have stayed longer. The dorm room is very comfortable, the bunk beds are large and roomy, there is a powerpoint and lamp for each bed. Beds were super comfy! The location is great - a nice walk to Nara Park and surrounds, and to places to eat. Yoko is such a lovely, welcoming person. It was a pleasure to stay there, and to meet her. Yoko had some fantastic recommendations for things to visit. We would absolutely stay again, and recommend anyone stay there!

It felt like staying with family - Yoko the host is very friendly and I enjoyed spending time with her. She helped me with cooking and gave me little cookies and fruit :). She was always making sure that my stay was enjoyable. I'm glad I found this home away from home. My room was very clean and comfortable. The location is good, on a very quiet street within walking distance from the deer park.

The host. Yoko-san is a very warm and welcoming lady, who made our stay very pleasant. It was very nice to meet her and talk with her. The house. The house is beautiful and cozy, traditional japanese-styled. Our room looked exactly like the one shown on the pictures, it has an air conditioner to keep us warm at night, the beds are big and comfy. The location. The guest house located very close to Kintetsu-Nara Station which is filled with restaurants and shopping options, and it takes about 20mins to walk to Nara park. The price. It was very affordable even for New Year’s Eve!

This has been my favorite of all my stays in Japan! Yoko is so sweet, I really appreciated her warmth. It felt like I was staying with an auntie :> Thank you for being so kind! Everything was clean and organized and the beds were super comfy and warm at night. This is definitely the place to stay for female travelers! This is the most safe I've felt in any hostel and hotel as a solo female traveler.

Very good guest house, had the best night of sleep, really close to the Nara park and station, absolutely lovely guest, highly recommend !

Yoko is super kind and we enjoyed talking with her. The Japanese style room was cosy and the futon beds were really comfortable. The location is top - next to the train station and Nara park, so we didn't have to use any public transport at all while in Nara.
