“Excellent location in Nara, between Nara Park and the centre, a short walk from both”
The location was excellent, quiet yet the centre was a short stroll away through attractive arcades. The whole place was immaculately clean with a shared kitchen with all amenities. Shared bathrooms and toilets but all so clean it didn’t matter.

Fun fact, this landlord lady kept trying to explicitly teach me how to be polite on her terms, by: 1. tearing my visa page accidentally without apology, 2. staring at me and interpreting my actions while I dried my hair, then commanding me to clean the hair and water marks on the floor, saying this was not polite for the next guest—even though another bathroom was always empty throughout my stay, 3. criticizing me for wetting the slippers just by touching them while I was still wearing them. A very judgmental and suffocating experience. However, if you want to learn how to be a polite guest, this lady will have no doubt in teaching you. 🙂

Lovely guesthouse, perfect location, close to the park and Nara town. The guesthouse is new, modern facilities, with traditional mats and futon style bed. A novel experience. Very clean. Nice kitchen, and shower rooms. Slept well and happy to recommend.

“Good choice for Nara”
- we could drop our luggage before check in time. - not responsive on booking but owner is very friendly when you meet her. - shared bathrooms but very clean & comfortable. (separate toilet) - big shared kitchen available. - room size bigger than the standard ones (more space). - well located and 15min walking distance from Nara park.

“A good place to be to experience Nara in comfort and safety”
Easy walk to many attractions and town centre/rail station, very clean and modern, but in a very traditional area . Every amenity from keyless entry to spotless showers and toilets, to comfortable beds/bedding, big room,free coffee/tea Very pleased by the thoughtfulness of the host.
