“Excellent and “Comfy Stay””
Truly a “Comfy Stay”. Largest room of our 3 weeks in Japan, well appointed, spotlessly clean, robes. Terrific central location for exploring Naramachi. Check in was smooth. Lots of amenities including loan of chargers, hair curlers and dryers, games, assortment of teas and coffees AND a fridge full of water and juice at no charge. The window in our room opened which was most welcomed. Highly recommend!!

“Comfortable stay and beautiful decorations”
I loved the decorations in the common areas! It looked so beautiful. There is hot water, microwave, drinks and more available in the "living room". Several tables allow comfortably eating in the common areas. All amenities one would need are available, we also had a fridge in the room. For us, the room was quiet and we had a great stay. The location is amazing, we could walk to both train stations in Nara as well as all the attractions.

“Good place to stay in Nara”
We stayed really close to the park. They seem to have several places across town , it might be that we got lucky with our location. The place had really good amenities, including hair dryers, hair irons, sweets, phones chargers, tea, water bottles, etc. We had a room with a shower but the common shower rooms were individual and seemed quite nice (although we did not use them)

“A great little stay in the heart of Nara”
Lovely communal space, a quiet area, on the verge of "old" Nara which was delightful. A great place to explore, also very close to Nara Park.

Everything was perfect. The checkin, luggage storage, route suggestion from the staff, great selection of champus and conditioners, free tea, coffee and a microwave - all available in the common area. Extremely clean and comfortable beds. Great showers! And I paid very little for the amount of luxury I got - thank you!

Comfy Stay Sarusawaike is a small facility extremely close to Nara's most important temples. The structure is unmanned, thus you will have to figure out some things yourself.The structure is on two floors, with no elevator. The lobby offers some good facilities(toilettries, numerous shampoo, body gel, etc) plus tea bags and great bisquits. The only minus would be the absence of any kind of luggage storage, thus you need to use the one at the railway station.
