The location would have been ideal, unfortunately major road and drainage works were going on about 10m from our window and balcony. Well situated for restaurants. A good buffet breakfast at a restaurant across the road.

the staff were friendly. They were always willing to help and the locaction was very close to the coast, so outside of the city centre.

“Sadly a dreadful experience in so many ways”
Dreadful experience with this property. Total lack of empathy from senior hotel staff (the head of sales) regarding me not being able to access the property efficiently. Traffic to the property location was dire (if you value your holiday time don't stay here). There was no space in the parking next to the property when I arrived. I held up traffic in the street outside and called the hotel to help me with luggage as I was injured, alone and couldn't carry my luggage from one of the other suggested parking lots 400 meters away (which could also have been full). The reception answered then put the phone down on me. I had to pull away and drove around the hotel area yet again in bumper to bumper traffic . I then gave up as I'd been trying to access the property for an hour and a half and drove to another hotel. Messages to the hotel on both email and booking.com 'messaging' both on the day and several days after were blatantly ignored. It feels like the staff have not been trained in how to treat customers fairly with empathy and understanding. They put no value on customer experience and communication as witnessed in previous reviews on booking.com and elsewhere.
