Sooo close to the beach and the view

Lovely to get picked up at the ferry and then they also have bikes to rent right at the accomodation, making it really easy to get around without a car.

The pick up and drop was great. The location was brilliant and the highlight was being able to sit on roof top balcony watching boats and flying fish. the apartments were very clean and plumbing was fantastic.

Gorgeous sea views, sunny roof terrace, comfortable beds, good shower an bathroom. Good room coffee, basic bread and jam breakfast very welcome!

Its location! The scenic location at the oceanfront is amazing but make sure you have one of the two apartments directly at the oceanfront. The extenely friendly staff will pick you up at the ferry terminal and bring you back when you leave. Make sure to rent bikes at the house in time and make reservations for all museums before you arrive!

The location overlooking the sea and a beautiful beach - stunning by day and amazing by night hearing the waves lapping on the shore outside the window and to contemplate the magnificent starlit sky from the rooftop terrace.

The location, friendly staff and size of room

very friendly host, came to the port of the island to pick us up and bring us to the accomodation. She was extremely helpful with information on the island, providing us with electric bicycles ànd helmets!!. Breakfast was served in an adjacent room. The lady-host brought us back to the ferry port next day in the afternoon. evenmore perfect: the roof terrace on top of the accomodation, with a fantastic view on the sea and islands around.

Location on the beach with a roof terrace was great - it's always wonderful to be so close to the sea. Pickup from the ferry port was appreciated, even though it's very close. Breakfast was tasty and nicely presented. The room was beautifully clean and nicely renovated with a comfy bed. The communication from our host over messages was really thorough and warm, so I appreciated that.

“Room not as presented”

The presentation of the apartment (which is a tiny room) is faulse. The room is NOT 322 sq feet, it is 3x4 steps or meters maximum. There is no space to open luggage and walk in the room on same time. We had to put outside the little table and two chairs to at least be able to open luggage.  The room has no terrasse with ocean view but a window looking at a wall. When curtens open every one passing by can look into your privacy. Then, there is a steep corridor of steps leading to an upper door, which then leads to a terrasse.  The picture showing tables and chairs is not part of the room but a common area. There was no staff at all. We had stated that we would arrive between 17.00 and 18.00, there was no one expecting us and we couldt call as we only had an esim card. We sent messages and waited for about one hour. Then a man arrived, not staff, but like a neighbour doing a favour to the owner, handing as over the key. He said if we should have any problems to contact the owner, then he left. Plus, that the tiny apartment costs more than double of the average in Japan for this size.   My travel partner Paschalina Karakatsani and I had travelled already in Japan for 3 weeks and we have always experienced accuracy in what to expect. So, unless you have no luggage and it is summer to enjoy the terrasse, there are much better and cheaper options in Naoshima.
