Very quiet and a lot of space. A friendly host brought us to the harbour. Musea close by.

“Good location to visit the island”

Very well located, in front of the bus station, 15 min walk to the Art House Project. Landlord was really nice and even landed me a bike, which was helpful in the island.

Location was great, in a quiet street close to some restaurants and the bus stop. The owner was very friendly and flexible. The room itself is spacious and well equipped. Good heating and air conditioning unit.

Very kind host. Despite not speaking a word of english, he could explain everything and was very accommodating. Comfortable room. Location is good, although given the size of the island you can't really go wrong with anything.

The owner was very friendly. Upon arrival, he took the time to explain everything clearly. He really paid attention to personal touches — for example, there were small Dutch clogs placed by the TV, which was such a sweet detail! While we were outside, we were surprised with two bikes he kindly let us borrow. The apartment itself was very comfortable: good beds, clean, with a nice compact bathroom and toilet. There's a bus stop just around the corner, and the area is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

“Wonderful and cozy apartment in Naoshima”

Wonderful apartment with a large and cozy living room with kitchen, the bath was also tidy and very clean. The owner was very kind and helpful, explaining everything about the apartment. wish I could’ve spent more than one night.

Wonderful location right next to the museums. The place feels like home, and the owner is super nice. The beds are incredibly comfortable. If no one’s there to welcome you, you can ring the bell at the end of the alley. Bikes are available (not electric) as well as a washing machine.

Very friendly owner (Japanese speaking only), he picked us up at the ferry port. Bikes available for free. The apartment is spacious and very clean. Great value for money and very close to many art sites

Our host met us straight away, showed us around, gave us bikes to use for free. He also drove us to our next location as soon as we checked out, so lovely! We had a great time here.

“Hospitable hosts and comfortable room in Tsumuura area”

This was the last hotel available on the island but it turned out to be a very comfortable and hospitable stay for me. The hotel is near a lot of the Bennesee Art Site attractions and near the Honmura port area (Art Houses & Ando Museum). The availability of bicycles at the property was a lifesaver, as the e-bikes and regular bikes are usually booked up at all the bike rental places on the island. I would also recommend the Okonomiyaki Umikko restaurant nearby for the pleasant relaxed atmosphere.
