We has a wonderful stay at Sana Mane Resort in Takayama. The service was excellent from start to finish—staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was comfortable and seamless. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and well-maintained, making it a great place. The sauna experience was fantastic and really added to the overall sense. I would definitely recommend choosing an ocean view room rather than a forest view. The scenery is absolutely worth it and really enhances the experience. Overall, a fantastic stay and I’d happily return.

“Unique stay!”

This is a very unique place. We loved the sauna and the beach, the tents are good, the bathroom inside immaculate. Dinner is fun cooking your own bbq. Breakfast was a little small but tasty and different. We loved our time there since it was the wrap up to our Japan trip and it was great. The staff was amazing, very accommodating and communicated well.

“Good alternative if there are no hotels available”

The place is not bad, in front of the beach and at a decent distance from the Ferry, in case you need to walk because there are no taxis available. The tents are nice and big, and the bathrooms are super comfortable for camping.

It was beautiful setup with our tent overlooking the sea. I do not eat meat and staff was very kind accommodating alternative meal for me.

“Pretty and different from Hotels”

pleasant - Breakfast was pastries with plunger coffee and fruit and yogurt. Tents were cool fun for a couple of nights went for a swim beach was ok but i live in NZ so have a high benchmark

Amazing location and well maintained full facility yurt. Staff really friendly and helpful. BBQ dinner was fun. Excellent location on beautiful beach. Great for a swim and then relax in the incredible wooden sauna.

Incredible stay - immaculate rooms, and the beds and linen were so comfortable- best bed I slept in whilst visiting Japan. Dinner was delicious. Staff were lovely.

Very comfortable , and good location overlooking the sea . Staff very friendly. Tent pods very comfortable and roomy . Only two pods face the sea the other 5 all face inwards . At night the staff light a camp fire which is lovely to sit around . There is a bar that serves drinks until 9 . Food has to be pre ordered and that was tricky !! Bring some snacks with you there is a 7 eleven In town but that closes at 9 pm .

good camping experience

Amazing location with a beach within a stone's throw distance, beautiful sauna paired with an ocean swim, and nightly campfires to cap it all off. Thanks to the excellent staff for their help with all of our needs!

“Not worth the price, but glad we could stay on the Island.”

Staff were fantastic, tent was good, but the rest of the place was run down and website not clear enough (we didn’t pay for dinner/breakfast when booking as thought we could do when we arrived, but were told that nothing available … as it turned out the great staff gave us a recommendation for dinner and we had a great meal !)

Right next to the beach with very comfortable rooms. The hosts were very friendly. BBQ dinner was delicious and sitting by the fire watching the Tanuki playing at night was a highlight of our whole holiday.
