This place is literally a 2 minute walk from the ferry terminal on Naoshima, very convenient :) Super colourful room, felt like crashing in a mates loungeroom and really comfortable. What ultimately set this place apart for me though, made it comparable to a 5 star resort.. was the reverse cycle air conditioner! It was cold and wet for a bit of the time I spent on Naoshima, and although I braved the elements and took in some beautiful art, it was a real comfort to know that I could come back to a toasty warm room :)

This is a lovely place. My room was a very generous size It was lovely and clean, with fresh towels daily and access to fridge, microwave, kettle and cooking hob, with utensils. Great location, literally 2 minutes walk from the ferry, the onsen and bike hire facilities. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe here. Thank you

Very very friendly hostess. Location so close to the harbour. Easy check in, luggage deposit Lots of convenience. Very clean.

The position is excellent a few mins walk from the ferry and next door to a cycling rental with well maintained bikes which made it very convenient to leave our bags in the morning cycle all day pick up.our bags and return on the ferry to Uno

The room was warm, super comfortable, the amenities were perfect for the stay. The hostel is super close to the port and the bus stop, where you can reach every part of the island. The host is really friendly And nice, a real Japanese experience!

It’s a bonus that the owner speaks good English. It is very close to the iconic bath house. Our room had lovely bright decor .

Right at the harbor. Next to the bike rentals and next to the public bath. The host was very friendly and even helped us getting a dinner reservation right at arrival.

This is a winner for position, right across from the ferry and great value for money on an island that largely caters to the haute bourgeoisie.. It’s an unpretentious back-packer-style hotel, but with spacious traditional Japanese rooms. Clean and unpretentious. Perfect for the solo traveller.

This is a quirky little place in a Great location. Comfy futon & clean room.
