“Perfect spot to base yourself for a few days”
The on-site e-Bikes were so convenient. You're not going to win the Tour de France on them but they were great for getting around the island! And made the local convenience store a 3 minute trip. Kitchen and laundry facilities made life so easy

“Favourite hotel of our trip”
The staff came to pick us up at the port by car which we really appreciated! The room and bathroom was super spacious and one main thing that stood out apart from the rest of the hotels we stayed in on our trip was that they provided every amenity you can think of I.e sanitary pads, thanks for thinking about the ladies! Bikes were free to use, they are a bit old and creaky but it was free so I can’t complain

“great place to stay. do it!”
the host was amazing. we got picked up at the ferry and driven to the hotel. we had access to electric bikes and were given raincoats because of the rain. they offered to drive us back to the ferry when we left

Great location, very big room for Japanese standards, lovely and modern atmosphere. Pick-up and drop-off to the port was arranged seamlessly, and Aio gave me the nicest welcome and all the information I needed to truly enjoy this beautiful island. I loved everything about my stay!

“A perfect place to stay , relax and enjoy”
This was a fabulous place to stay with all sights within walking distance although the host did have electric bikes to use free of charge. I highly recommend Baton works to anyone traveling to Naoshima. If we ever return we will certainly be using this place again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The large window made it lovely to wake up and enjoy the morning view every day. There was also a desk, which made it a nice place to start my day, and the bathroom was even more comfortable than in many hotels. The location was convenient — not too far from the port, so it was easy to walk around. I also appreciated the small kitchen, and the host was very responsive, which made everything smooth.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Batonworks! Every detail was well thought out and we truly felt we were in luxury! The electric bikes were fabulous to have for exploring the island and the art books were a lovely touch. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very helpful friendly staff ready to answer all our questions. Great location and free e-bike use was perfect for seeing all the sites. Wee kitchen for the mornings and all teas and coffees etc, couldnt ask for more honestly

Very clean, loved the ebike. Very comfortable and teas/ coffees and milk etc provided. Beautiful building, and enjoyed the bath.

“Large, clean and comfortable apartment”
The garden room is located on the ground floor of a stylish, modern, clean and comfortable apartment. It is very well-equipped with a washing machine with auto detergent (on the upper floor), free snacks, fridge, kitchen utensils and stove. Appreciated the fresh towels provided for each day. Rumiko and her staff were very helpful in assisting us. The staff drove us from the port to the apartment on the first day and back on the last day.

“We would definitely stay there again!”
The location was convenient, a ten minute walk from the ferry and about 3 minutes to the bus which takes you two thirds of the way around the island to most of the museums and galleries. It was very pleasantly designed, spacious, and the kitchen area relatively well-equipped. The sheets and towels were of a good quality. We used the washer/drier which took a long time but did an excellent job. The view from the window was lovely. We appreciated being picked up from the port when we arrived and the kind offer to make a dinner reservation.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this place. Its super intimate, the room was HUGE very comfortable, super clean, very well located just 10 min walk from Miyanoura port and they give you bikes so its a 15 min bike ride to Honmura and 20 min to benessee. Perfect and totally Recommed! Rumiko was our hostess and was so nice to us, even helped us send our luggage to our next destination. Thank you for everything! Would come back again any time
