My wife and I have always had one rule: never return to the same place twice (no matter how much we loved it) so we could keep discovering new destinations. That was until we found The Landing. We’ve now been there two weekends in a row and have already booked our next stay: that alone says everything. Everything about it lived up to expectations. From the design of the house, the amenities and location. The view of mount Kenya in the morning was amazing, and the cozy fire at night. Totally worth the stay. The staff were very helpful and polite.

“Nanyuki’s finest hidden gem”

One night wasn’t enough! The location is perfect as it’s a few minutes from town. The property has the most serene compound with an insane view of Mt. Kenya. The cottage is cosy, very clean and has everything you would need except food… which you can easily order. We brought our own and cooked. The property owner was super kind and the host on ground was very welcoming.

The pictures don't do justice to this lovely home. We were glad to have booked two cottages, giving us the entire villa and a private pool to ourselves. Communication with Hannah, from booking to check-in, was seamless. The property offers secure parking, and the cottages were tastefully furnished with reasonable kitchen amenities. The outdoor kitchen in the upper cottage was a delightful feature, perfect for BBQs. We loved the clean, private pool, though it is unheated, so only for the brave. The addition of an indoor fireplace was a thoughtful touch for chilly evenings. A nearby restaurant offers an extensive menu with convenient pick-up or delivery options. The Landing's location next to the airstrip makes it easily accessible, though it's a bit of a drive to town, so plan accordingly. A heartfelt thank you to Hannah, Pauline, Margaret, and the entire team at The Landing for making our stay memorable. We hope to return soon.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. Had this mornings cup of coffee watching the Sun rise behind Mt Kenya. Friendly Staff, self catering with excellent appliances cultlery Etc, awesome fireplace to have a few drinks to keep warm to.
