Such a beautiful property in a stunning location, with the most wonderful hosts Wizzy and John! The room was incredibly spacious with a beautiful view, but it must be said we spent most of our time in the homely communal areas and the amazing stables.

“most beautiful place to be close to the mountain”
this place is a wonderful place to be! as soon as you arrive it feels like coming home, very familiar, as you are close to other guests and the hosts you feel extremely welcome the garden is lush, the whole area is very inspiring whether you are seeking for some adventure or for retreat throughout the day you can gaze towards Mt. Kenya from several spots, either on a horse or from your breakfast table ;) definitely a place to come back!!

“Felt instantly relaxed at this beautiful property”
the property itself is exceptionally beautiful and very clean but the two girls running it are so kind and helpful. We ended up arriving later than planned and didn’t have time to eat. They whipped us up an amazing dinner of their menu and it was one of the best meals we’ve had. It was so convenient for us.

“Great stay.”
This accommodation is quite remotely situated but well worth the effort to get there. It is an excellent large house well kept by the hosts with good on-site parking. The rooms sizes are exceptionally large and well furnished. The WiFi was good and the girls running the accommodation made a good breakfast and evening meal.

“I had a really nice time in this very comfortable house.”
Jenny and Emily were super friendly and helpful. They are also amazing cooks and the food was delicious. The rooms are spacious and light and depending on the room you have a great view on Mt Kenya or the Aberdare Mountain Range. The beds were very comfortable and, bonus, the property is off the grid and is eco friendly.

Our room was beautiful. Views of the mountain are must-experience. That the facility is solar and wind powered is excellent. Staff were friendly and communicative.

Very spacious place, looks just like photos, rooms were huge and the size of the beds was great! We all slept very well and our privacy as people was respected for the things we wanted to do. All the sofa sets were nice, great option in sofa blankets. Shower was hot and spacious too. We really enjoyed dinner as well. We made spacial arrangements with the manager, Emily and all our need, concerns were dealt with well by her!
