“Felt real”

The managing couple, their daughter, and the warm aged uncle (who provided the onsite caretaker role) were all very attentive and sincere and sought to ensure that everything was as required. Breakfast and evening meals were consistently good. The private bathroom was generously sized, the bed was comfortable, and the room and house were quiet. The home is along an unsealed thoroughfare just off the road to Nanu Oya and folk in neighbouring houses were friendly. There was a distinct sense of being authentically part of a small local neighbourhood and there were memorable mornings on the balcony looking out at the ranges and plantations. The wifi was a good connection.

We had a very comfortable stay in this property.The owner and his wife was very friendly.Very clean and nice location.The food was very delicious.The sweet-potato curry was amazing.If we go to Nanuoya again we would definitely stay in this property.

Amazing staff, very friendly. The place is 10 minutes by walk from train station, very good contact with the owner. Room was clean and comfortable, wifi worked very well.

“Quick and easy stop over spot”

For a quick stop over this an easy location with a great host. We felt very welcome and comfortable spending time in the common area. Easy to get to aprox 900m from the station. Had a really large ensuite and hot water was good. We had a nice chicken fried rice dinner with the host and loved the welcome tea and cake!

“Very very very bad”

I was kept waiting at the property for 1 hour in the early morning as I reached about 2.30 am, informed in advance and taken concurrence through Booking official website. Neither the owner nor the property manager turned up. As I returned back to station, property manager called and asked who is attending to guest at night. If facility was not there, you should have responded in negative when I asked you in advance.

Shared bathroom

Prices are reasonable, you get a nice view and a lot of space in the sharing areas. The manager is friendly and helpful. There are not so many places to eat (we visited the van near the train station and the local shops with samosa etc) but you can also use the kitchen and there is a breakfast. There is an amazing hike just nearby along tea plantages and local villages, we enjoyed it more than the fancy tea factories as dambro.

Everything was fine - nothing fancy. The highlight for us was having dinner at The Train View (a guesthouse about 1.5Km away). The food was delicious. Got to meet the hosts family - a very authentic experience

The Property is located near near to the train station and you will probably have a very comfortable stay there. Especially the service was amazing! The Staff even made me Breakfast at 5:30 in the morning and if you have question he is always available.

It was such a nice stay for one night. The host was so friendly and helpful, we got such a nice early breakfast before our check out. It was located perfectly, it took only 15mins to walk to Ella railway station.

We arrived a day early to my booking (vacation brain) but they looked after us. Staff was great! I am 6'5 so the bed footer made it a tight fit but otherwise things were great. The 15 min walk from the train station allows for some amazing views of the countryside.
