Periwinkle has been completely renovated to a high standard and was designed by Nantucket Looms. The inn is set to reopen Memorial Day Weekend, 2023! “A wonderful stay in Nantucket”
It was conveniently located in the centre of the village. Bright airy and lovely to see the rabbits in the garden every day.

“Met our needs.”
Sufficient breakfast. We spent most of our time outside or sleeping. If weather had been bad, a nice sitting room downstairs would be a plus. Proximity to town as we had no car was perfect! We were 4 small women, men would have not liked the tight bathrooms.

“Way below expectations”
Way overpriced. I know Nantucket well and you. An Het much better value for money. Tired rooms, poor breakfast.

By far the welcome and support from Gail at the Periwinkle Inn was unmatched to any other place I have ever stayed at, . She is kind informative and has an uncanny knowing for how much to talk to each client.

“Comfortable, clean, charming, and can't beat this location!”
Loved the charm of my attic room (Captain Bildad) with its harbor view, small sitting area, and comfortable bed, and breakfast was simple but delicious. Taking a tray to eat out in the back garden on a beautiful summer day was delightful. Several tables and chaises, and little rabbits hopping around, and it was a lovely spot to hang out any time of day. The inn has beach chairs and beach bags to borrow. In addition to the breakfast and self-serve items, there were also amazing fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies available in the breakfast room in the afternoon. Gail, the inn owner, was so helpful and could not have been nicer to deal with. The location in town is excellent - a quiet little street but only a block to shops and restaurants and other attractions, and a few more blocks to the ferry. It is an easy walk to the entire downtown and Brant Point Light. I was sad to leave and hope I can return one day!
