Immaculate rooms with good quality bedding and toiletries. Breakfast items changed each day. Friendly relaxed hosts - felt right at home. Close to lots of restaurants and bars. Walking distance to the ferry too.

Everything was perfect. Eric the Inn Keeper is an amazing host. The property is beautiful, I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The tranquility and comfort

One of the most beautiful rooms, hotel and location at our round-trip through New England. This house is a gem, its owner very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was served with a lot of fresh fruits - this was also the first hotel on our round-trip serving healthy breakfast. We can also highly recommend the "Brotherhood of Thieves" with its delicious food, located 1min walk away. Nantucket has been perhaps the highlight of our whole journey.

“Nantucket home away from home”

This was my second visit. I loved it the first time, and it was even better the second time after renovations. The owner baked quiche himself to add to the breakfast. He is genuinely welcoming and friendly. The room is comfortable with a great bed. The breakfast room is so pleasant in the morning.

The housekeeper is so lovely. The house is fantastic, the room Cyrus is very cute and very clean, even if the windows are slamed because of the storm outside. The house, an old lady, is genuinely clean and cosyThe breakfast is complete, the house is very well located : 6min walking to the ferry and the less to the restaurants and pubs.

Breakfast very nice! Host excellent, room excellent. Had the room w/ double beds…..banged our heads a few times on the sloped ceiling😆 Maybe paint a design or stripes on ceiling so we can “see” it?

“Characterful Inn 2 mins from centre of Nantucket town”

Great location, very friendly and helpful innkeeper. Our original room was very noisy with a water heater constantly buzzing so he moved us into a different, quieter room. He was cheerful and helpful about this. The new room was great - light and airy and comfortable. The Inn is old and characterful but very very clean and well looked after.

Anchor inn is just like home from home. Had a family atmosphere and Nate would always help you with any problems or information that would help your stay be perfect.

Simple but nice room, very comfortable, and a great size. I really appreciated that there were blinds and curtains - helpful when in the room during the day versus sleeping at night! Nice firm bed with great bedding. Amazing Malin + Goetz bath products. Nate the manager was very helpful and friendly. He and the staff enhanced our stay.

Nate is the beating heart of the Anchor Inn- Nate sets such a lovely tone for the Inn. A home from home - really welcoming and friendly . Nate brought us food one night after his daughters party - an extra touch . Really clean and comfortable rooms - slept great in the beds . Spacious rooms , nice continental breakfast.
