“Magical stay”
A quiet magical hidden gem with breather views. The walk around the lake is so serene and peaceful and very aesthetically pleasing. There is a nice supermarket organic one in the town nearby. Kitchen is very useful and massive common areas including living rooms and very artsy renovated 350 YO building. We extended for 2 days just to live here and soak in the place

“Amazing stay- it is a must”
The house is amazing- one of our most memorable experiences we've had- even with the stink bugs, which are very common in the area during April. Don't let that spoil your stay- just tape the window sills- you will be fine! The house is very clean. Koji was a great host and we wish him well and hope to stay again in the future.

The house itself is beautiful especially during winter.It’s like living in winter wonderland.Lots of snow and you can build snowman and sledge down hill.

“Superb Kazura Guesthouse”
The house facilities, the staff, the surrounding, the view, I love it all. I love how they keep taking care of the house even though it's already few hundred years. We even play the snow surrounding the house and it's fun!..will go to here again in the future!

“Absolutely fantastic”
Gorgeous building with a welcoming atmosphere. Host let me pick any room and I chose the dorms in the attic and had the space all to myself. Host is so friendly, I got him a beer and we had a nice chat. I hope I can come back soon.

What amazing accommodation! If you have the opportunity to stay here, you will not be disappointed! I think that the house is something like 350 years old but has obviously aged very well. We would definitely stay here again. As soon as we walked in through the front door, we could feel the calm. There was calm music playing and our host spoke in a calm unhurried tone. Even our tween/teen children spoke quietly and calmly so as to not disturb the ambiance. We had access to the kitchen, which allowed me to make food for the children and make coffee for the adults. For the coffee snobs among us, our host as happy to share his privately roasted beans. We would definitely stay here again, in a heartbeat.

“Traditional grasshouse stay with engaging manager to chat with. Loved it.”
Surprise to find a Grasshouse style house outside of the traditional grasshouse villages. Was a delight to stay in this authentic grass style house, history, culture, views and manager of the property excellent. We were the only ones staying the night we were there, so even more special. We had the whole property to ourselves when the manager left for his own home over night.

The house is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Absolutely stunning inside and kitted out with everything you could need. The person at check in spoke excellent English. There were even 5 different hand roasted coffees to try !

“Beautiful old guesthouse. Great to slow down.”
The guesthouse is an old traditional renovated farmhouse with an awesome rustic and very comfy charme and pieceful view over the lake and the mountains. The owner is very friendly and cool and offers very delicious bread for breakfast and (for free:) different kinds of coffee and tea. I had a great relaxing time there, escaping the hussle of the city.
