A superb little B&B with fabulous hosts - Alex & Jenny. We stayed more nights then we planned because of them and the B&B’s good location for exploring the Charente and its chateaux and abbeys. Great breakfast & fabulous room.

The room was beautiful. Pet friendly. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. There is an excellent restaurant 2 minutes walk away. Parking, however, is in the street and you cannot gaurentee being outside the guest house.

The view of the ancient church from my window was lovely. Nanteuil-en-Vallée itself is one of the prettiest villages in South-West France, enhancing the overall charm of the location. Alex and jenny are such warm and welcoming hosts. The breakfast consisted of fresh yoghurt with homemade granola which was delicious. This was followed by toast, boiled egg and croissants with juice and coffee. My room was tastefully designed and the bed was very comfy. The room was warm and cosy with a proper heating system which is a rarity in my experience of chambre d’hôtes. The location was perfect for what I needed.

Lovely, attentive owners. Nothing too much trouble. Stunning exceptionally lovely room with en-suite. Fresh figs etc for breakfast. Attractive garden with raised patio seating area with shade when required.
