“Lovely staff, comfortable bed & great breakfast!”
The breakfast was excellent, great variety and it was nice to sit outside. We enjoyed an evening meal too. The bed and pillow were comfortable and it was great to have balcony doors to open. The staff were friendly and attentive.

A great hotel for a 1-2 night stay. It is located right by the river and in the middle of the forest, so it feels very peaceful and serene. It is a perfect place if you are looking for some tranquility. Just a heads-up: there is no mini-bar in the room. Also, the breakfast could be a bit more varied - for example, it would be nice to have some fresh vegetables.

“A beautiful location, we would definitely stay again.”
It is in a truly beautiful area beside the river Edre with a wonderful picnic park area beside it. It was exceptionally clean and the staff were excellent. The room was a lovely size with a view to the garden and woodland at the rear. Nantes was a great place to wander around, the botanical gardens are amazing and the Chataeu des Ducs is spectacular. A two minute walk from the hotel is the University Vetinary Collage. It has a public vet attached where we took our dog for her tapeworm treatment prior to sailing to the UK. We walked in and were seen there and then. Be aware that if you use the vets they are in training, you need to allow plenty of time as they are very thorough. We had a lovely girl called Pauline and it was a pleasure to be able to provide our dog as a study for her.
