“I wish I could live here!”
Thank you for a wonderful stay. The house truly feels like a “home away from home.” Everything is very well thought out and fully equipped — nothing felt lacking. The view is beyond lovely - I spent my time lounging, reading and just looking out. The kitchen is complete with homely dinnerware, and the bathroom is clean, efficient, and very comfortable to use. We especially appreciated the small but practical details, such as drying mode in the bathroom - laundry is always a worry on travels, not this time. The toiletries were thoughtfully selected and gentle on skin. The hot tub that could be reheated is such a treat in the cold evenings. The beds were comfortable, and the provided pyjamas were a nice touch. I could wear them the whole day to be honest. A stay that is both restful and refined — ideal for those looking for something more private and off the usual path. We had a very comfortable stay and would happily return. This is a destination on its own.

“Amazing experience in a traditional Miyama house”
Beautiful traditional house in Miyama, modern facilities, friendly hosts and delicious Spanish breakfast. Staying there is a wonderful experience. We also enjoy cycling around the village. We wish we could stay longer, at least two nights or more. Thank you Tina and Toru for hosting us!

Beautiful traditional Japanese countryside house, with all modern comforts added. The hosts were great and adapted to our needs. Fits up to ~8 people. About an hour drive from Kyoto, but do consider that the famous Kayabuki No Sato village, while a fairly short drive away, is not within walking distance - so you'd probably want to rent a car.

Every detail in the house, the host arrangement, and the Spanish breakfast was great and we were so well taken care of. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The place is so nicely decorated and you will take nice photos at any corner of the house, they provide some card games there and we had a great family time there. This is a place with love and I really love what the hosts arranged for us. Thank you once again :)
