Ease of checking in and the use of a kitchen & games room

Very friendly staff and the room was large and comfortable. Beautiful place, and the horses were very entertaining. Overall, it was a great experience and we are looking forward to going there again.

Everything!! Location was amazing. Tranquil, surrounded by countryside, mountain views & horses. Room was beautiful, decor & furniture perfect for the style of property, bathroom clean with huge shower. Huge comfortable bed. Communal room was so useful, everything required to make, store & eat food and lovely coffee. Plenty of games, books and pool table.

The property is lovely, quiet and getting to be with all the animals was amazing for both my child and me. Greeting horses each day and night was awesome. The staff is very friendly and it is easy to just whip up to Parksville or Coombs and come back.

Our stay was very, very, relaxing. More than all the comforts of home. We will book again when in the area!

Amazing Views

This was such an amazing place to stay. My partner and I were blown away by how peaceful it was, and the view..... was breath taking. And horse's, we will most definitely be booking in the future, and for a longer stay.

There was no breakfast provided. The location was delightful and very peaceful and it was nice to interact with the horses. The host did her best to address our concerns about missing items which should of been there in the first place.

“Bull’s-eye”

For me, it was the sounds of the property. I didn’t know how badly I needed horses doing white horses do. Every time they would make a noise I could feel my body decompressing is beautiful, being out there in nature with those wonderful creatures.

It's was very nice to chili in the hot tub under the rain. The hours and dogs are so cute.🥰 The room was spacious and had lots of entertainment. Thank you for the candies and coffee! It was very energizing in the morning.

“Wonderful staycation ranch for islanders (and others) who want to do something a bit different”

Loved the location on a beautiful 125 acre ranch overlooking a gorgeous fields of hay/farmland with Mount Arrowsmith and other mountains in the distance. We also loved having the opportunity to go horseback riding on the local trails, something I haven’t done in years. The proprietor also told us about the local swimming holes in nearby Englishman River, not to mention nearby Parksville and Raftreavor Provincial Park beaches. Finally, after a busy day horseback riding, swimming and walking in the area, we were able to relax under the stars in the outdoor hot tub and cold spa.
