Shangri-la is Shangri-la, it has everything a standard "Shangri-la" has. Room is comfortable and spacious, nice lake view, in general the room is very nice.

Shangri-la is always a safe choice in China. Nanjing Shangri-la has the best location, you enjoy the tranquility and beauty of 玄武湖 and it is very accessible to all major spots yet away from the very busy touristy area. It is 3 minutes walk to underground, bus stop in front of the hotel, lots of restaurants, entertainment and convenience store nearby. Service was outstanding. The housekeeping was very attentive and detailed, she even noticed the cosmetic mirror was running out of battery and charged it! The room service was always responsive and offered service promptly. The porter Mr. 鄭政 (hope I remembered his name correctly) was very helpful who assisted all our luggage and airport transfer. The check in, check out process was seamless. Thank you for the butterfly cookies and fruit basket, we really enjoy our stay.

Breakfast was great! We could order some local breakfast items. I wish that could extend to afternoon tea and dinner! Location of the hotel is great too, just a few mins walk to the metro station and next to the beautiful Xuanwu Lake.

This is a really nice hotel. Everything was very good. It is close to the metro and to a nearby shopping center. It is a short walk to the lake and I can recommend a walk on the old city wall, where the entrance is just a few minutes away.

Its a typical Shangri La with his traditional beauty, located just next to the lake, the staff its very very nice and well prepared, I anyway do think that hotel need a refresh
