“Great, 10/10.”

The hostel was right in the centre of Laomendong, which is a great place to walk around and eat/drink in the evening, and only a 10/15 minute walk from the metro station for accessing other areas of Nanjing. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We only stayed here for one night, and they let us leave our bags in the hostel after we checked out the following day (we were getting a sleeper train to Beijing so didn’t have another hotel to check in to). The hostel has a cafe/bar so we returned to the hostel before our train to have a drink and call our families.

The hostel is placed in the middle of the historical Laomendong district, a pedestrian area full also of nice shops and restaurants, very closed to the subway. The room was big and clean and Staff was helpful and nice. Totally recommended!

“Awesome stay in central historical location in Nanjing”

The rooms and the location are awesome, I was in a spacious private room with all comfort. It was very clean and nice. And the location the best location in Nanjing, right in the old town next to the wall with all shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was extremely nice despite not speaking English.

Excellent location, very close to Xianfeng Book Shop. Spacious room, very clean and comfortable. Staffs were very helpful. Good vibes and good restaurants within short walk.

“The best place for enjoying the vibe of the old town”

The location of this hotel is the best part we loved. The decoration of the room is simple yet cozy. During the night, it is incredibly quiet. We took a walk in the early morning and truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the surroundings.

“Beautiful Lao Men Dong”

Located at the end of Lao Men Dong attractions. Many nice restaurants in the surrounding and only 15 mins walk from Fuzhimiaou. Room is spacious,clean and comfortable.

We love the location, clean,gd surrounding vibes. Staffs are helpful and polite, coffee are better than Starbucks.

Nice location and surroundings as it is inside tourist attractions, but no public transport nearby.

Excellent location in Laomendong. Coffee and drinks sold at the lobby. Rooms were very clean and spacious.

“Super comfortable and clean”

This is great hostel in a fascinating, old part of Nanjing. The best thing about this place is how comfortable the rooms are - super clean, high speed Wi-Fi, big beds, perfect AC and lots of piping hot water. Could easily have stayed longer! We arrived quite late at night around 11pm and it was a bit tricky to find as the reception’s telephone was off (so we couldn’t put them in touch with the taxi driver, who didn’t understand the written directions). They don’t seem to have a luggage store room but kindly stored our bags for us in the lobby while we explored the city, before catching the train.

Tidy rooms, amazing location. Friendly staff who were helpful and accomodated us even thought we can't speak any Chinese. It is in a very beautiful area which is pedestrian only- so no cars or scooters. However, I did get lost on arrival as the taxi could only take me so far- for somone new to China this could be daunting.

- The location is great: right in the middle of one of the city's must-sees, very close to the metro, and easy to find - The hostel is very quiet (I slept like a rock) - The room had everything needed, and the bed was very comfortable

The location was perfect for exploring the old town. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable.
