“Very comfy bed.”
We had accidently booked accommodation at the wrong location. We went in to see if there were any rooms available and a lovely man, I think named Alan, helped us book in. He was very friendly and we had a lovely chat with him before going to our room. The beds were unbelievably comfy. We were only there for one night while travelling though but I got the best sleep in that bed. The bathroom was nice and very clean as well as the rest of the room.

Perfect location for a stopover when driving along the east coast of Vancouver Island. Walking distance to the centre and the sea. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. All you need is in the room. I would use the facilities again and recommend them to friends.

Harbour Light is very reliable for an overnight. It is worth mentioning that the rooms and bathrooms have been refurbished in the last year or so.

“Nice budget stay in Nanaimo”
The lady at reception was so lovely and helpful - we arrived slightly early and she was very happy to help us find a room that was ready. The room itself had a nice view, was warm and comfortable. We appreciated that it felt a lot more modern than other budget motels we had recently visited on the island.

“Bring your own stir stick.”
Im not sure if it's under new management but I have stayed here a few times and this time seemed different, in a good way. They have cleaned up the exterior and the room seemed nicer than I remembered.
