I stayed at the location during a snowfall in January so not much time spent on the property but the yard and surroundings looked very quiet and serene . I would love to return in the warmer months to explore the area

It really is on a country road with a small creek behind the large property. The host lives on the other half of the modest duplex. Downtown Nanaimo is a 15-20 minute drive but there is a supermarket and a couple of restaurants closer.

The host really went out of his way to be helpful and kind.. The suite was spacious and decorated thoughtfully. Every window view was beautiful with trees all around. It really is a special place.

“Comfortable cottage stay in the country”
Absolutely loved this little studio. The decor was gorgeous and bed was super comfy. The deck looks out over the yard and the serenity of the woods.

“Great place to stay”
This suite was 10 min from the ferry, we arrived after 10 pm, so it was so nice not to have to drive far. The property is very private, so we did not have to worry about our kayaks on our vehicle. The host was very accommodating and met us to let us in as soon as we arrived. He even helped with our luggage. The suite was spotless, the beds were so comfy, and they had everything we needed for our short stay. This is a 10/10 place to stay would be vlgreat for a young family or a .a flgroup of 4 or 5.

A really nice 2 bdrm place. Very quiet, very close to Duke Pt ferry & a wonderful host. Should you stay here? Yep!!

“A dream of a place. Woodland surrounding.”
Leon was a superb host. So courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Left us groceries and during the first evening gave us some mosquito spray. So calm and relaxing. Pictures don't do property justice.
