Modern,friendly and welcoming. Ideally situated close to the harbour. Lovely restaurant and bar with plenty of choice of food and drinks. Plenty of parking underground for a small daily charge.

Very friendly staff and clean, comfortable hotel rooms. Very close to the action in Nanaimo, easy walk to a lot of attractions and restaurants.

Location for the BC ferry terminal not far. Room was basic to be honest.

We thought the hotel restaurant was great. The quality of food and the service. We had a picturesque ‘Juliet room’ with fabulous views of the harbour area. We were on foot but we had easy access to buses ( to bc and hullo ferries ) - we also got the bus to Neck Point and saw Whales (far away but with binoculars). The small ferry boat to Newcastle Island is nearby too. In our opinion a great hotel to say in if you visit Naniamo. If you like beer then visit the Tap Room at ‘The White Sails Brewery’. That is great and again a short walk from the hotel.

Wow, just WOW, this far exceeded my expectations. From the very first contact the staff could not have been more accommodating. One of my favorite moments in our entire trip to Vancouver Island was sitting outside at the restaurant with my wife, son and daughter in law eating amazing food and drinking beautiful drinks. I was so impressed with our entire stay.

The location of the Coast Hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly and respectful. The quality of the food was also excellent. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant with a beautiful view of the pier, and it was delicious. I was also happy with the room; it was clean, tidy and organized. My only suggestion would be to put a slightly stronger hairdryer in the room. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.
