“Warm hospitality in old town Nan”

It was a short but sweet stay that we enjoyed at Baan Mai Muang Nan, and we left richer for, not only the experience, but more importantly for having known this homestay's remarkable host, Khun Suwaree. She was already at home waiting for us when we arrived later than anticipated (after an unplanned binge at the amazing Yai Phon desserts) and warmly welcomed us to her lovely home, car parked in her spacious front porch. Within a 5-minute's brisk walk, we were at our favorite Wat Phumin - how conveniently central! Khun Suwaree even surprised us the next morning with the most delectable soy and pumpkin milks, eggs, fruits and sticky rice for breakfast. We also enjoyed all the chats with her and are already looking forward to staying with her again on our next visit to the beautiful city of Nan. There's so much more to share but we are limited by the space here so will conclude with: Khop khun maak khrap P'Suwaree!🙏🙏🫰🫰 Highly recommended!

“Exceptional”

We enjoyed our stay with Suuwari. Her home is lovely and she made us very welcome. It's a small thing but we particularly liked that the shower was separated from the toilet. In so many places the shower is almost above the toilet and everything gets wet! The location is good, within walking distance of lots of attractions including the weekend night market. We hired bikes from a guesthouse on the same road to explore outside the centre. The long-tail boat racing was on during our stay and it was great fun to watch.

Baan Mai Muang Nan has all the cozy comfort of a homestay with the convenience and attention to detail of staying at a hotel. Stepping inside feels like coming home, and you are filled with a feeling of calm and serenity. The owner made me feel right and home, speaks very good English, and is very engaging in conversation. The room itself is spotlessly clean, with good working AC and a nice bathroom, and I even ended up staying longer than planned because it was such a great base to explore the charming city of Nan. And the location is unbeatable as well - only 5 mins from the weekend night market, Wat Phumin, and literally just round the corner from the Nan National Museum (highly recommended). Thanks for making my stay in Nan extra special!

The owner, Suwaree was very kind, made us comfortable, and gave us useful travel tips. The front, back yard was connvenient, listening to bird singing. There were well equipped with coffee, fruit & some snacks in the living room. When we checked out very early in the morning, she gave us something to eat, also. Thank you, Suwaree. Be Happy & Healthy forever. I strongly recommend this stay to future guests going to Nan.

The lady owner speaks good english, is very helpful and friendly. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet within walking distances to the night market and temples.

The property offers accommodation in a distinctive local culture. I like the building built in shady gardens of city center and decorated with valuable local materials throughout. The team by Khun Suwaree warmly welcomes all guests with unique seasonal fruits such as fresh wampees that are only available in Nan, facilitate and take care them like her family, prepare a variety of breakfasts that are always pleasing to the guests.
