This is a lovely place in Namwon, we would 100% return. Zoey was super friendly, we felt very welcomed and her art is stunning! Zoey is very helpful and her lovely mum cooked a great breakfast. (Lots of food) The place was very clean and quiet perfect for long interrupted sleep :)

“Fantastic quiet guesthouse”

They have only 4-5 rooms and we were the only one there. Very clean, lovely big room, comfy bed and puffy duvet, great location. They also have lovely products to use in the toilet. I couldn’t recommend it more. Oh and the young lady at the check in and check out is so kind and speaks good English. I would come back!

This is the best guesthouse in Namwon! I saw this place on instagram a lot of times. The guesthouse is very famous among korean solo female travelers. Fortunately, they have part of the guesthouse only for foreigners, so I could even reserve it during Chuseok. The location is perfect. It is located near all main tourist attractions in Namwon, in the evening you can go to see the lights of the city (which are made in traditional style), the lights in the park. There is the bus terminal near the guesthouse, and you can go to the Jirisan Baemsagol, Gyryo, and big cities. Also, there are some cute coffee shops not so far from guesthouse. And the owners are very kind. I felt myself in korean retro drama. And cats are sooo cute!!

Really nice and kind owners with good English. There was almost no one, so they let me choose my room and let me check-in early. New furniture, it is visible it was build recently. Possibility to use kitchen, tea&coffee for free.

“Homey stay in namwon that’s close to attractions”

The room was big, the hosts were so lovely, and the cats were so friendly! The room has aircon and under floor heating system. Hot water comes out well in the shower. The location was perfect too- walkable to the main attractions of nanwom. There were cute cafes around as well food options. Taxi comes by well often on the streets so it was easy to get a cab back to the train station. There’s two accommodation buildings so look for the hosts and they’ll guide you to your room. I stayed in the non-hanok one (note: you’d have to climb stairs if given the second floor units). They helped to do my laundry too at a small fee and I really appreciate that it came out piping hot from the dryer and I didn’t have to walk out to look for a self laundry shop❤️ I took a day trip via intercity bus to gurye (30mins on the bus) and the intercity bus terminal was also easily reachable on foot from here There’s also a bus that goes to jirisan baemsagol- host would share more details for travelling and eating with you

Fabulous place. I was given a free upgrade to a private room in their lovely hanok home. Great restaurant and activity recommendations. Visit the local park after 6pm as it is free. Just a wonderful place to stay. So nice. Good location for Jirisan National Park.

Mua Guest House is a cozy house facing the river and the mountains in Namwon city. The house is very close to all the most important tourist attractions in the city but what makes it truly special are the people managing it. The owners are mom and daughter who manage the guest house in the most pleasant and enjoyable way. They are locals and can suggest the best places in the city for eating, visiting and more. I will definitely go back to Mua Guesthouse because it is comfortable affordable but mostly because I felt at home.
