Grand Hotel de Flandre is located in a characteristic building across from Namur Railway Station and in the city centre. There is free Wi-Fi. Proximity to train station, amazing view, quiet room (well insulated windows), size of the room. Overally: excellent price/experience deal! I got an upgrade to a suite, which made it outstanding.

“An hotel where you don't sleep”
Not much. It is just in front of the train station, and that's an advantage. But the area does not feel very safe at night. The breakfast, though expensive, was correct.

“Great Base for Exploring Namur and its Surroundings.”
Just over the road from Namur railway station. Kettle in room with coffee and iron with board on request. Quiet at night. Staff lovely. A short walk into the main area of Namur and not far from the Citadel.
