“Nice place for your first night on the loop”

Great big guesthouse for your first night on the loop. Simple but there was everything you needed for one night. Functional, clean. I also loved the pack of dogs living on site. Super cute and friendly. Very relaxing to pet them after all day riding. Really nice buddies. Good advice: the place is located on the lake and might be a bit chilly and windy in the evening, so don´t forget to bring some warmer clothes for sitting outside and having a dinner. You will feel much more comfortable with extra layer an socks.

Nice place to stop on the first leg of the Thakhek loop! The quieter of the two hostels in the area, although you can still go and enjoy the lively atmosphere in the hostel over the road!

Nice location though google maps gives wrong directions - anti clockwise its before the big bridge - no signs on road

“Cozy place by the river with great coffe!”

Very cozy place! It’s located by the river and have a very cozy restaurant right next to the water. We had an amazing morning with two cappuccino and a very relaxing view. Their homemade bread was delicious. For us, this was the best morning of the loop. Also, if you love animals this is a great place because they had so many cute cats and dogs!

One of the few options to stay when in Thalang on Thakhek loop. Staff is very nice and food is delicious. The location is perfect! One of the most beautiful sunrise!

“The most beautiful location!”

Wow! What a location! One of the most beautiful places we have stayed in Asia. It is right on the water and you can kayak and swim for free, which was a perfect way to cool off after a long day on the motorbike. There is a big space to relax and we had a lovely time watching the sunset over the water with a drink. The room was basic but very clean and furnished to a good standard.

Really nice accommodation on the lakefront with astonishing views from the restaurant. The staff is very nice and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Stayed here twice whilst on the loop. Totally recommend the place, the views and the food.

This was absolute paradise, after a day of riding a motorbike there is nothing better than a beautifully clean and fragrant room. Absolutely wonderful staff took care of us even though we arrived quite late. In the restaurant they prepared a perfect multi-course tasting menu of local fish. And for breakfast great tea and delicious mango sticky rice. Everyone was very nice and the only pity is that we only stayed here for one night.
