It's a beautiful place surrounded by nature with a nice stream at the front that you can swim in. The rooms are just like the pictures, and the hosts are also very friendly and helpful. You also get a big breakfast in the morning. It's close to at least 2 of the big waterfalls in that area.

“Unique place worth a visit”

Tranquil space on the river which could be described as rustic but very well thought out, very clean and totally unique. The detached bungalows are modern with great beds and electric showers. This property is off the beaten track but walking distance to the town and the people are so friendly and will go out of there way to help you. There is a daily food market, but Sunday and Wednesdays a full market starting at 6.30am! If you want a genuine Thai experience this is the area to visit, but the best bits are the hosts Worit and Ong. Their Thai breakfasts are delicious, large and memorable

Service was poor and did not meet the expectations for such a pricey stay. We expected more from the staff. Prices of the restaurant were way too high.

Lovely find a great place to relax in a beautiful bush setting. Felt like we were in a jungle but still walking distance to the town. Lovely staff great coffee and pizza from the restaurant. Room was exactly as pictured and clean. Bed a little hard but that’s pretty standard. Overall a great place

Very peaceful location on a mountain stream. Water is very clean & fresh. The owners are lovely people. Not a lot of activities but we were there to spend a bit of quality time together. My boys 13 & 10 enjoyed themselves.

We had the most wonderful 5 days over Christmas ! Wirot and his beautiful wife Ong and gorgeous golden retriever Latte made us feel so much at home . We loved everything about Kung Nok Resort and would highly recommend staying there if you are looking for a true Thai experience . It’s great for the soul ! Thank you both 🩷

The Kung Nok Tha Resort - a TOP address I highly recommend the resort!! We stayed there for a few days and were absolutely thrilled: The location directly on the small river is magical and the beautiful bungalows are built in a great bamboo grove. It really comes up with a jungle feeling. The food was very tasty and authentic, real original Thai cuisine. Chef Wirot was incredibly helpful in all matters: shuttle service, great tips for excursions (including his scooter) and even took us on a private Sun Rise tour in the jungle. The food, cooked by Wirot's wife, was very tasty and authentic - real original Thai cuisine. If you want to experience the original Thailand, this is the place for you: we were the only foreigners there. We will visit the Khao Luang again and then definitely again at Wirot in the Kung Nok Tha Resort.
