Clean and comfortable The dry area of the bathroom was well sealed from the outside, hence it didnt feel very cold stepping out to the dry area to towel dry. Good quality soap, shampoo, face cleanser. Hand rubs provided within the room! Gacha upon check in for a free welcome drink

“Great accommodation for hiking in the region”
It's a great place, close to the train station. They give free bread snacks in the morning, and also onigiri for a price. There's a lunch/dinner burger deal too, as well as free coffee and tea. The bathroom was shared, and so was the shower. We used it to hike from Nakatsugawa to Magome, then Tsumago, then Nagisa, which are all quite easily reachable with about 5-6~ hours of walking in about 20km hike. The room itself doesn't have much and you sleep on a Japanese mat, which isn't too bad but you shouldn't expect a feather soft experience. Overall a great experience.

I stayed for 1 night only, but it was a very pleasant experience. Cozy and clean. Breakfast soup and bread is a nice touch, and there´s free coffee/tea and a welcome drink. My room was a spacious traditional Japanese room with a window and view to the street. There´s a shopping mall in the walking distance with a big Daiso and a nice canteen. Very close to Nakatsugawa train station and bus stop to go to Magome-juku if you´re hiking the Nakasendo like I did. A great place to stay!

Walking distance to train station; separated shower and toilet for male & female; comfortable traditional rooms with futon beds; free coffee provided in the morning; I recommend to choose this ryokan when hiking the Nakasendo trail

Loved my traditional room in this Inn, lots of space, bed very comfy. The staff were super friendly by looking after me. The showers were communal and were nicely hot with high pressure. Brilliant place to stay before starting the Nakasendo, highly recommend it and also if you are around for dinner make sure to try their Waygu Burger with Wasabi Mayo & Salt. Superb!!

“Great stay, full of nice extras”
Very practical location close to the train station, the extras are great, from a welcome drink, breakfast, and practical luggage storage, even overnight as we went over to the Nakasendo trail and spent a night in Tsumago. I would even stay longer here and come back from the walk if I did it again.
