Lovely property in ideal location for Magome. Spacious room and good to have use of the kitchen area

We loved the guesthouse, the host was so lovely and friendly. The rooms were super comfortable and the mountain view was gorgeous. Was in a perfect location in the middle of Magome. Would love to come back for another stay.

Bright, clean, great facilities, quiet (only five rooms). Opening window, coathangers (but not with swivel hooks). Didn't use the lounge, but the kitchen area was wonderful to sit at, enjoy at cup of tea and watch the street, the people and the fish in the pond. Only one power point in the room, next to the bottom bunk.

Location in Magome main street was perfect. Magical room overlooking the valley out the back. Even though it was a guesthouse, 4 rooms I believe, it was peaceful and everyone was respectful. Would recommend anyone to stay here walking the nakasendo trail.

Excellent stay in a truly special guesthouse in the heart of Magome. The rooms and all common areas were perfect, spotless, and cared for in every detail. The welcome was extremely professional and well organized from check-in, with lots of useful information about the area and the Nakasendo Trail. We especially appreciated that the host spoke excellent English, which made everything easy and very pleasant. The guesthouse perfectly combines traditional Japanese charm with modern comfort, creating a very relaxing and authentic atmosphere. The common areas were also beautiful and very welcoming. The location is perfect, right in the historic center of Magome. Experiencing the atmosphere of the village in the evening, when everything becomes quiet and atmospheric, was truly magical and special. We really hope to come back in the future for a longer stay and to explore this amazing area more deeply, knowing we have already found a special place to stay.

We loved our stay at Guesthouse Nedoko, we think it was one of the best place on our trip! The owner is lovely and helpful. The spaces are great, good communal sitting area, good kitchen facilities (would recommend bringing things with you as there’s not much food purchasing places in Magome), and very comfortable stay! Highly recommend!
