“Quiet retreat of food, forest and onsen in the forest”
I appreciated how well taken care I felt as the host not only collected and dropped me off at the nearest train station, also to and from town for restaurant and exploring. The location is walking distance to forest walk. The room, actually a suite, was very spacious with lovely view of the garden. The bed was super comfortable and the heated rug was very nice. The 4-course dinners were well-prepared, with large portions.

“Magical family l run Ryokan stay in the nature”
We liked everything! The entire place is situated magically in the forest and you feel as one with the nature. The Onsen is great. Both indoor and outdoor. The food was too delicious. We ate way more than we needed to because it was so good and made with love. And most importantly, this is a very small Ryokan that is run by so lovely family that we felt immediately at home! Very recommended!

“Peaceful and quiet stay with good onsen and food.”
Dinner was very delicately prepared. We appreciate the chef’s attention to details & using of seasonal ingredients. Staff were very friendly and helpful. After check out, we realized our rental car had a flat tyre. Staff was very helpful and friendly in helping us to find a solution.
