Beautiful accommodation, easy to get to with a car. Was really nice to relax with a cup of tea by the fire place. Easy check in and out. We booked a time for the private onsen when we arrived, very relaxing. A little small for 2 people though. Breakfast was really tasty and fresh with plenty of food. Beds were comfortable with 2 pillows per bed. A few tasty restaurants for dinner a 10 minute drive away.

“Relaxed luxury”

The two owners are lovely people who both speak English.The house looks brand new and has a designerish feel to it. Still, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. It’s full of understated luxury like the beautiful water boiler and rough wood underneath a glass sink, for instance. The beds are good, the airco works wonders, it’s quiet and spotless and the view unto the rice fields is soothing.. The lady recommended a restaurant that was exactly what we wanted. The city is a mere 10 minutes by car. And to top it off: the breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time.

Element is an absolutely fantastic option for those visiting Furano - only 5 minutes drive, even in the deepest snow. The highlight was the warm reception and friendly service I experienced throughout my short stay. Highly recommend this to any travellers who have the chance to visit. The scenery and seclusion around the property is perfect, if you are looking to relax in Hokkaido - this is the spot! One of my favourite places in Hokkaido.

“Lovely hosts, zen accommodation in peaceful surrounds”

The owners were genuinely lovely and kind. Such a privilege for us to enjoy their homecooked breakfast over 2 mornings, with fresh produce from their garden by the accommodation. Because there are only 4 rooms, it was very peaceful & quiet at night. We could even relax with a good book at the common living area... it felt like a 2nd home! One could sit outside, hear the crickets and gaze at the stars in the pitched-dark sky... sans light pollution :) Thank u for your kind hospitality, Ken & Chie! We wished we could have stayed longer!

Element is a very beautiful house. You can tell from the moment you enter the front door that it was meticulously designed. The view from the living room is so calming. We are Koreans who don't speak Japanese, but the couple who run Element were very kind and our lack of Japanese skills didn't bother us at all. My parents praised their kindness very much. I hope Element will stay in Furano for a long time. I will visit this place again next time I go to Furano!

“Cozy getaway, great location, friendly owners”

I loved every bit of our short stay in Element, I wished we could extend. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The place is really close to the town centre. However, my husband and I did drive so getting there by car was a breeze. For travellers who are without a car, access can be a bit tricky though, but I think this is common for most properties outside of the vicinity of the town centre. The house was lovely. The interior, the rooms, and the oak tub that you need to reserve. The breakfast was homey and fresh. Every detail was well thought out and it made our stay memorable.

The design was top-notch. The owners were extremely friendly and resourceful. Upon arrival, they told us about the Bellybutton Festival and taught me how to get there. We’re so grateful and it made the stay more memorable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay.
