“A great place to stay if you’re happy with the basics in life and just want a restful break away from it all.”

The property is vey peaceful; you have to reach it by boat. It is run by several members of a friendly Nubian family. Once there, there is absolutely nothing to do; you go there to unwind with a good book and rest. The views are lovely, given it’s situated right on the waterside.

A unique experience, away from the cities and noise, but just a short taxi from Aswan, plus hotel provided boat crossing. If you want something different this place is a great option. The staff are friendly, prices reasonable, food lovely. The Nubian people are super friendly and we were welcomed twice by locals who offered us a hot drink and wouldn't accept any payment. The hotel has Kayaks for hire, you can swim in the Nile.

“A homely island stay”

The property is really beautiful, set on an island of Aswan. The welcomed me in like I was apart of their family and made it feel more homely. It is such a beautiful property and accessible only by boat. The island is beautiful. Plus their kitchen is incredible - the food was delicious! I would always recommend people to stay here for the peaceful atmosphere and the incredible sunrises over the water.

Deligjtful hosting, excellent vienes and delicious food, a MUST away from noisy and dusty town, a deserved , fresh and peaceful stop for the adventure. Also, their cuisine is DELICIOUS. They arrange efficiently all for you, boat, tours and taxi to Airport.

Our host and his workers / family were most gracious, accommodating and relaxed to communicate with. It's certainly worth taking a moment for a friendly chat. The hotel itself occupies a great position after a short and smooth boat ride. The rustic, Nubian style is charming indeed. You'll love it.

I had an incredible experience staying at Miskaa Nubian House! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and felt immediately at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was beautifully decorated with authentic Nubian touches, and it was clear that great care had been put into making the space both cozy and functional. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the window was absolutely stunning. The location is perfect—peaceful yet conveniently located close to the beautiful Nile. I especially enjoyed the traditional Nubian meals offered at the hotel. Each dish was delicious and gave me a taste of the rich culture of the area. What stood out the most was the overall atmosphere of the hotel. It felt like a peaceful oasis, blending culture, comfort, and hospitality perfectly. I left feeling relaxed and enriched by the experience. I highly recommend Miskaa Nubian House to anyone visiting the area.
