The location is a dream. The remoteness of the location, the view on the river from the balcony and the trees is just unmatched. Highly recommend the massages too!

Such a beautiful location, I cannot recommend this enough! The fireplace and the view from the balcony were absolutely magical it was the perfect place for a proposal and engagement :) Really appreciate all the helpful staff for their excellent communication and for making this a special occasion. Also a lot of peace of mind knowing there was a guard on duty 24/7.

Remote location and especially the view was just perfect, the hut is truly stylish, cozy and clean. Staff is friendly and we really loved the possibility to enjoy a full day menu cooked by locals.

one of the best stays we had in kenya. price for one night is worth 400-500 usd. unfortunetly it is in the middle of nowhere, which makes it not so easy to get there and explains the price. 2 more tents were build close by, by the owner, which you can book via airbnb - including outside bathtub with stunning view. the jacuzzi in our room was amazing. you can order food which will be delivered to you or bring some food which will be cooked by the stuff member for an additional small charge. only place where we wished to have a bit more time. make sure you arrive before sunset…

“Magical Malewa”

The view is absolutely beautiful, and adrenaline inducing when you overlook the edge. The rhythm of the river was soothing enough to dull the adrenaline. The accommodation is self catering and the host is a good set up to facilitate this. Directions to the property by the host were easy to follow. We had a magical time.

Unexpected jewel nested close to an average area. Naivasha is surrounded by farms, not exactly exciting. The Honeymoon Hut, is in a secluded valley, with a stunning view. The place is so good that we did not take any excursion or activity and enjoyed the stay at the hut for whole three days. Host very friendly and available any time. The place is so remote and , at the same time, so close that we managed to have food delivery to our door. P.S. Is the first time that I award a full ten

“A very special place”

A very special place beautifully built on a cliff in a forest overlooking a bend in the river. Very tastefully designed (around a centrepiece of bed with a mirror above it), with a large balcony, it lives up to its name. Good cooking facilities (gas) and the place cools down at night. Good wifi and hot water. The owner can help with arranging taxis at a reasonable price. In December, the dirt track was in reasonable condition for a 2WD.

Prompt response and accurate directions by the host. A very well thought out and executed living space. Secluded and immersive into nature. The chef delivered on the meals in good time and very well prepared. The experience exceeds any describable expectation. Magnifique!

The Honeymoon Hut has to be one of our most favourite places we have ever stayed. The location and the accommodation itself is completely beautiful. It was so nice to relax and unwind and absorb all the wonderful nature and wildlife that surrounds the hut. We felt completely at peace there. Kevin was incredibly warm, kind and friendly - he went above and beyond to help us with the rest of our trip. Our only regret was that we didn’t book for longer but it gives us the perfect excuse to come back!
