“Best homestay ever!”

A very pleasant environment, fantastic staff and very tasty local food! I had originally booked for one night but extended my stay. Very comfortable and large rooms, a varanda, heated pool in a serene environment. Zebras, monkeys, giraffes just a few hundred meters away. Strongly recommended!!!

It really is worth the journey to travel to this wonderfully peaceful and spacious home with nature all around. I loved walking everyday through the game park to the town for lunch on lake olediene. I could have stayed longer had time allowed . Every morning you’re bathed by birdsong and you may even get a visit from the 4 dogs who roam the property . The homestay is the family home by Chris and Mercy who graciously share their space for delicious meals and the comfortable rooms are tucked away from the main house so everyone has privacy . Outside the rooms is a terrace where you can chill , read and study the brochure of things to do in the area. I slept so well for 3 nights on a comfortable bed with soft linen . Considering half board is included the stay it is exceptional value .

Amazing experience , home from home. Quiet space close proximity of hells gate and lake Naivasha. We rested here for two nights and enjoyed the facilities then decided to move closer to the lake. The staff are lovely , and accommodated our dietary needs. The owners were great hosts. Definitely will recommend this place to friends and family

“Unforgettable !”

A real hidden gem - we loved everything about our stay! It is such a beautiful place and has everything you can wish for. A large swimming pool with beautiful views of the surrounding game sanctuary, a spacious room and great food is served by friendly staff. The property is decorated beautifully and feels like a 5 star hotel. If you walk outside it is like being on a safari with so many animals around - we saw more animals than in Hell’s Gate national park! We took a beautiful late afternoon walk when we arrived and the next day used their mountain bikes to explore. The owners, Muthoni and Chris, were so friendly and welcoming - 10/10 hosts.

The venue is a hidden gem 💎 and drive there is heavenly beautiful. Seeing wild animals while driving is a dream come true. The staff were so friendly. May God bless Alice abundantly 🙏. Her food and her care is immense .

Everything and everyone what a fantastic place Alice and kezia cook the best food ever in Kenya (25yrs experience) and provided such a personal touch in their welcome and whilst there. The owner Chris and his wife were really welcoming too. Only booked for 2 nights but wish we could have stayed longer.

The place is a hidden gem! We were welcomed by beautiful views of the wildlife and maps led us directly to the gate. We loved everything! the food, ambience, the pool, the gardens not forgetting the wonderful welcome by Alice and Keziah and the hosts (Chris and Muthoni) Meals were freshly made and the pancakes are to die for!! The dogs are super friendly and my children loved spending time with them. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and got a lot of rest in a beautiful and serene place. Would definitely go back!!

“A Hidden Gem in the Wild!”

Alpha’s Homestay is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave. Nestled deep within a peaceful wildlife conservancy, the journey there is already part of the magic! Think open skies, quiet landscapes and lots of wildlife sighting as you wind your way toward this tucked-away haven. What makes this place truly special is the owners’ generosity in opening up such a beautiful, personal space for others to enjoy. It feels like a gift to stay here. Alice and Loice were wonderful hosts, and the food was hearty and comforting. They even baked us a cake on a chilly Saturday! We rarely return to the same place twice, but we’ve already booked another stay and that says it all. Highly recommend!

“Magical stay out of a Disney movie”

Thank you to the wonderful hosts, Chris and Muthoni from Alpha Home Stay. This was truly a stay that felt straight out of a Disney movie. Alice and Lois greeted us after our long drive with the warmest hugs and the most beautiful smiles. The kids immediately jumped into the warm heated pool, and it set the tone for a magical visit. The food Alice prepared was phenomenal, filled with fresh, organic fruits and vegetables from the garden and yummy dishes. She even made us a large lunch that was an extra cost but absolutely worth it. Chris and Muthoni were so kind and generous. They joined us for a lovely evening filled with great conversation and memorable stories. Their recommendations for the rest of our trip were spot on. The dogs, Cassius, Olivia, Milan, and Shadow, were all gentle and sweet, especially with the children. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and having two bedrooms allowed us to get a peaceful night’s sleep. Make sure to visit the chicken coop in the morning, where Lois collects the eggs for breakfast. This stay was filled with warmth, joy, and unforgettable moments. We would love to return!

Staff lovely, great food.

I stayed at Alphas Homestay 3 nights with a friend and it was wonderful! After one month in Kenya this was one of the best accommodations we’ve found so far. The homestay is located in a private conservancy where you can ride the bike and admire buffalos, zebras and giraffes all around. The room was very clean and the bathroom very spacious, there is also a beautiful patio next to the bedroom where we you can have tea and relax, we appreciate it a lot. We had breakfasts and dinners at the homestay that we really enjoyed, the girls served us delicious meals. As vegetarians it was very nice to find a place were we can get delicious home made vegetarian food ! Muthoni and Chris are great hosts they made us feel at home away from home. We can’t wait to come back in August 😊

We loved everything!! Alice fed us so well. Her pancakes were sumptuous. She also baked us a cake, how kind. Their dogs were so friendly. Most of the meals we had were fresh from the farm! It even tasted diffy😀we took walks and spotted wildlife so totally recommend it💯
